Possible OT\n******Must be Forklift Certified (VALID OR INVALID) *******\n**This is a Safety Sensitive Role**\nSummary:\nRole focuses on movement of products throughout the warehouse using various types of Material Handling equipment. Role requires the skills and experience to operate/drive manual handling equipment in accordance with local legislation. These roles will mostly require an externally accredited qualification/license.\nTypical titles include Forklift operator, Equipment Operator, MHE Operator\nResponsibilities:\nUtilizing manifest to pull route, stage freight, and assist Drivers to load and unload trucks\nMaterial handling may include one or more of the following: picking, packing, scanning, kitting (as applicable), counting products and other like duties\nMust ensure timeliness, packaging, and systems work is completed accurately\nIdentifying and annotating overages, shortages, and damages (OS&D)\nSafely operate warehouse equipment, such as forklift, pallet jacks, etc.\nRead and follow detailed and defined instructions in a fast-paced environment\nEnsure safe and secure work environment including all TSA and OSHA guidelines\nPerform other duties as assigned.\nQualifications:\nMust be Forklift Certified\nHigh School Diploma or equivalent\nPrevious warehouse experience preferred - 1 year experience\nMust be able to use forklifts, pallet jacks and banding/shrink wrap material\nExperience using a RF scan gun required\nPrevious forklift certifications preferred\nMust be able to work overtime as needed, occasional weekends\nMust be able to read and comprehend work instructions well\nMust have the ability to work well with others\nHigh attention to detail required\nMust have the ability to work well with others with little supervision\nMust be able to lift 50+lbs. unassisted\nMust be able to speak, read, and write in English\nPhysical Requirements:\nThis position requires standing and walking for extended periods of time. Position requires employees to frequently stoop, kneel, crouch, use hands, reach, bend and lift objects above their head.
