You will oversee a safe, efficient and customer-focused shift, providing clear direction to the team and ensuring operational, people and service targets are achieved.\nKey responsibilities\nLead the night-shift operation, setting clear priorities and ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently and to the required quality standards.\nManage day-to-day team performance, including attendance, productivity, coaching, development and performance reviews.\nMonitor customer and internal KPIs, identify underperformance and implement timely corrective actions.\nPromote a strong safety culture, ensuring standards and procedures are followed and incidents are reported, investigated and escalated appropriately.\nPlan labour and resources effectively to meet operational demand and service commitments.\nDeliver shift briefings and performance dialogues, encouraging colleagues to contribute ideas and improvements.\nIdentify training and capability gaps, maintain training records and support inductions and technical training.\nRespond to operational and customer issues, escalating where required and recommending practical solutions.\nMaintain site security and support measures that protect colleagues, assets, premises and customer products.\nSupport audits, continuous improvement initiatives and environmental objectives, updating procedures and training materials when changes are approved.\nWhat we are looking for\nPrevious experience leading or supervising a team in a fast-paced warehouse or logistics environment.\nStrong people-management skills, with the ability to lead, coach and motivate colleagues on a night shift.\nA clear focus on safety, operational performance, service and continuous improvement.\nGood working knowledge of warehouse management systems and Microsoft Office.\nConfident communication and relationship-building skills across operations, management and customer teams.\nGood organisational, problem-solving and decision-making skills.\nFlexibility and commitment to working the required night-shift pattern in Dublin.\nIOSH Managing Safely, or a willingness to complete the qualification, is desirable.\nExperience of bonded warehouse systems is advantageous but not essential.\nMaersk is committed to a diverse and inclusive workplace, and we embrace different styles of thinking.
