We’re uniquely positioned to help both shipping line and landside customers grow their business.\nAs a member of the Project Delivery Team, the IT/OT Package Lead is responsible for leading and coordinating the delivery of the Information Technology (IT), Operational Technology (OT), Automation, Systems Integration, and Digital Infrastructure Package for the Aqaba Terminal Upgrade Project.\nWe offer:\nWorking closely with the Project Manager, Project Controls Lead, HSSE Manager, contractors, consultants, terminal stakeholders, and other package leads, the IT/OT Package Lead provides technical leadership and oversight of systems architecture, infrastructure, networking, automation, systems integration, testing, commissioning, deployment, and handover activities.\nThe role is responsible for ensuring IT and OT systems are delivered safely, in compliance with project requirements, and in accordance with approved scope, schedule, budget, quality, cybersecurity, and operational objectives.\nThe IT/OT Package Lead supports successful project delivery by managing suppliers and system integrators, coordinating critical interfaces and dependencies, and ensuring all technology systems are integrated, tested, commissioned, and handed over in a manner that supports operational readiness and Go-Live requirements.\nTo be successful in this role, the IT/OT Package Lead must deliver in three key areas:\nSafe & Successful IT/OT Delivery\nEnsure safe, secure, and high-quality delivery of all IT/OT package activities in accordance with approved project objectives.\nDrive effective planning, deployment, testing, commissioning, and handover activities.\nPromote compliance with project standards, technical requirements, cybersecurity requirements, and HSSE expectations.\nTechnical Leadership & Systems Integration\nProvide technical leadership across all IT, OT, automation, networking, and systems integration activities.\nManage suppliers, contractors, system integrators, and consultants to achieve project delivery objectives.\nPromote implementation of APM Terminals standards, best practices, and fit-for-purpose digital solutions.\nInterface & Operational Integration\nCoordinate interfaces and dependencies between IT/OT systems, equipment, electrical infrastructure, automation systems, maintenance, and operations.\nSupport commissioning, operational readiness, training, business adoption, and Go-Live activities.\nEnsure impacts, assumptions, constraints, and risks affecting IT/OT delivery are identified, communicated, and proactively managed.\nPRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES\nIT/OT Package Delivery\nLead and coordinate delivery of the IT/OT Package, including infrastructure, networking, systems integration, automation deployment, cybersecurity, testing, commissioning, training, and handover activities.\nEnsure IT/OT systems are delivered in accordance with approved scope, schedule, budget, quality, cybersecurity, and operational requirements.\nAccountable for successful delivery of all IT/OT Package deliverables and outputs.\nSystems Integration, Automation & Commissioning\nGovern systems architecture, technical specifications, integration requirements, deployment activities, commissioning activities, and operational acceptance requirements.\nEnsure all systems are configured, integrated, tested, commissioned, and accepted in accordance with project requirements.\nPromote alignment with APM Terminals standards, architecture principles, and technical requirements.\nContractor & Stakeholder Management\nManage suppliers, contractors, consultants, and system integrators involved in the IT/OT Package.\nEnsure vendors fulfil contractual obligations and project commitments.\nMaintain effective collaboration with terminal stakeholders, maintenance teams, operational representatives, and project teams.\nSupport timely resolution of technical, commercial, contractual, and delivery issues affecting the package.\nInterface & Integration Management\nManage interfaces, dependencies, assumptions, and constraints between IT/OT systems and other project workstreams.\nEnsure alignment between IT/OT, Equipment, Electrical, Civil, Automation, Maintenance, and Operations teams.\nSupport integration testing, commissioning, operational readiness, start-up, and Go-Live activities.\nSafety, Risk & Compliance\nPromote and maintain a strong HSSE and cybersecurity culture across all IT/OT-related activities and contractor organizations.\nEnsure compliance with APM Terminals standards, cybersecurity requirements, technical specifications, contracts, project procedures, and regulatory requirements.\nManage package risks, opportunities, and changes in coordination with the Project Controls Lead and HSSE Manager.\nGovernance, Performance & Controls\nImplement APM Terminals project controls, governance requirements, reporting processes, and delivery procedures within the IT/OT Package.\nAccountable for delivery of the IT/OT Package in accordance with approved scope, schedule, budget, quality, cybersecurity, and operational objectives.\nEnsure package performance is measured, forecasted, monitored, and reported throughout the project lifecycle.\nMonitor and report package performance against approved scope, schedule, cost, quality, system performance, cybersecurity, and operational readiness objectives, and implement corrective actions where required.\nSupport project forecasting, change management, risk management, performance reporting, governance reviews, assurance activities, and stage-gate requirements.\nKey Responsibilities:\nIT/OT Planning & Design Management\nReview and coordinate all design activities relevant to the IT/OT Package, including architecture designs, infrastructure designs, network designs, integration specifications, detailed designs, and technical submissions.\nDefine system requirements, technical specifications, cybersecurity requirements, and performance requirements.\nReview supplier and consultant deliverables to ensure compliance with project requirements and APM Terminals standards.\nSupport technical assessments, design reviews, and solution evaluations.\nInfrastructure & Systems Deployment\nLead day-to-day coordination and oversight of IT/OT deployment activities.\nMonitor implementation progress and ensure works are executed in accordance with approved designs, specifications, schedules, and quality requirements.\nCoordinate supplier, contractor, and integrator performance throughout implementation.\nTesting, Commissioning & Go-Live\nCoordinate factory acceptance testing (FAT), site acceptance testing (SAT), integration testing, user acceptance testing (UAT), commissioning, and operational acceptance activities.\nEnsure testing and commissioning plans, procedures, and acceptance criteria are implemented.\nSupport operational readiness, training, Go-Live, and transition into stable operations.\nContractor & Stakeholder Management\nAct as the primary day-to-day APM Terminals representative for IT/OT suppliers, vendors, consultants, and system integrators.\nMonitor supplier performance and ensure delivery against contractual obligations.\nMaintain regular engagement with stakeholders to ensure alignment on project objectives and delivery expectations.\nServe as a technical advisor and challenge technology solutions to ensure implementation of fit-for-purpose and best-practice systems.\nSafety, Risk & Compliance Management\nActively promote safety and visible leadership across all IT/OT deployment activities.\nSupport implementation of project HSSE standards and cybersecurity requirements.\nParticipate in audits, reviews, testing assurance activities, and governance processes.\nIdentify, assess, and manage package risks, opportunities, and issues.\nProject Controls & Governance\nSupport implementation of project controls procedures and governance requirements.\nMonitor package progress against approved baselines and contribute to project forecasting activities.\nAssess schedule impacts, delays, changes, and mitigation actions.\nSupport preparation of progress reports, risk updates, change requests, and governance reporting.\nInterface & Operational Readiness\nCoordinate with Equipment, Electrical, Civil, Automation, HSSE, Asset Maintenance, and Business Integration teams to manage package interfaces and dependencies.\nSupport commissioning, operational readiness, training, start-up, and Go-Live planning activities.\nEnsure operational support, maintenance, and business requirements are incorporated into package delivery and handover.\nDocumentation & Handover\nEnsure package documentation is maintained and controlled throughout the project lifecycle.\nSupport development and review of system documentation, network documentation, test records, training materials,
