We are looking for a commercially minded Pricing & Data Analytics Specialist who can turn complex operational and pricing data into clear business insights. The successful candidate will support customer tenders, pricing decisions, product performance, and commercial growth, while developing Power BI dashboards and analytical tools that improve visibility and decision-making.
What You Will Do
- Support pricing for First Mile container drayage and depot opportunities.
- Manage pricing inputs for customer tenders, RFPs, spot requests, and contract renewals.
- Analyze customer volumes, carrier and depot costs, market rates, yields, margins, and operational requirements.
- Build, maintain, and improve Power BI dashboards and business intelligence reports.
- Translate data into clear recommendations for Product, Commercial, Procurement, Operations, Finance, and leadership.
- Monitor pricing performance, profitability, win rates, volume development, and commercial opportunities.
- Maintain pricing databases, rate files, tender platforms, and reporting tools.
- Work with Procurement to confirm cost inputs and market competitiveness.
- Partner with Commercial teams to develop customer-specific pricing solutions and support sales discussions.
- Identify revenue leakage, pricing gaps, cost-recovery opportunities, and areas for process improvement.
- Support the development and implementation of First Mile drayage and depot products across Canada.
- Provide analytical support for market mapping, customer targeting, and product growth initiatives.
What We Are Looking For
- Three to five years of experience in pricing, logistics, transportation, business intelligence, or data analytics.
- Experience with container drayage, depot services, port operations, intermodal logistics, or First Mile transportation is strongly preferred.
- Strong working knowledge of Power BI, including dashboard development, data modelling, visualization, and performance reporting.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including pivot tables, lookups, formulas, and large dataset analysis.
- Ability to understand cost structures and convert data into commercially sound pricing recommendations.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tenders and priorities while meeting deadlines.
- Comfortable working independently and collaborating across Commercial, Product, Procurement, Operations, Finance, and Customer Experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, Finance, Data Analytics, or a related discipline is an asset.
