The ideal candidate will have a strong background in SAP ABAP with proven experience in SAP TM implementations.\nAs an SAP ABAP developer, you will be responsible to design, develop, test, deliver, maintain and improve business applications. The role involves working across the full stack or be specialized in e.g. the frontend or the backend - through the entire software development lifecycle. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to understand business requirements, analyse existing systems, and provide innovative solutions to optimize business operations.\nResponsibilities:\nAI first development mindset with knowledge of tools and technologies to develop and deploy at scale.\n\nDesign, develop, and implement solutions with SAP ABAP, adhering to best practices and standards.\n\nAnalyse business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.\n\nCollaborate with cross-functional teams to gather system and data requirements, perform gap analysis, and provide appropriate solutions.\n\nDevelop enhancements and customizations within SAP TM using ABAP and BOPF frameworks\n\nWork on TM-specific objects like Forwarding orders, Freight Orders, Freight Units, and Planning documents\n\nIntegrate SAP TM with other modules (e.g., Event Management, Finance) and external systems using APIs and OData services\n\nTroubleshoot and resolve issues, ensuring data integrity and system stability.\n\nConduct unit testing, integration testing, and system testing of scenarios.\n\nProvide technical guidance and support to project teams and end-users during the implementation and post-implementation phases.\n\nStay updated with the latest SAP TM releases, advancements, and best practices, and recommend process improvements.\n\nDocument technical specifications, technical unit testing and related artifacts.\n\nWhat we are looking for:\nThis role offers flexibility for hybrid work arrangements, depending on business needs and candidate location.\nBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.\n\nSolid experience as an SAP ABAP developer, with a focus on SAP Transportation Management\n\nStrong expertise in ABAP, BOPF, Core Data Services and RAP (Restful ABAP Programming Model)\n\nHands-on experience with SAP TM data model and process flows\n\nExperience in debugging and performance tuning of TM-related programs\n\nUnderstanding of TM master data (locations, resources, carriers).\n\nExposure to SAP S/4HANA, Experience with SAP Fiori/UI5 and integration technologies like OData and APIs\n\nKnowledge in SAP BTP and SAP Event Management is a plus\n\nBonus: Familiarity with AI/ML concepts in logistics optimization and their application in enterprise systems\n\nAbility to analyse complex business requirements and provide optimal solutions.\n\nExcellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.\n\nStrong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.\n\nCertifications in SAP TM or related technologies are a plus.\n\nIf you are a motivated SAP ABAP developer with a passion for delivering seamless solutions and optimizing business processes, we encourage you to apply.
