The ideal candidate will have a strong background in SAP TM & EM, specifically focusing on Order Management, Charges, Planning, Execution, and Event Management areas. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to understand business requirements, analyze existing systems, and provide innovative solutions to optimize business operations.\nKey Responsibilities:\nCore SAP TM Responsibilities:\nResponsible for solution design, build, testing, configuration, solution delivery and support for SAP TM products across Maersk business units\n\nWork in an agile environment with product owners, architects, SAP developers/engineers and Scrum masters in executing on prioritized backlog\n\nEnsure on-time delivery of solutions by removing bottlenecks using expertise skills\n\nEnsure high quality of solution delivery by verifying design is followed during build and support\n\nComply with enterprise architecture, global template guidelines and product roadmap\n\nEvaluate product progress and be accountable for each stage of the development process and the final product\n\nMonitor performance of product including value delivery, user satisfaction, support process stability, and deployment/roll-out performance\n\nEnsure solution stays as standard as possible and promote reuse of existing functionalities\n\nEvent Management Responsibilities:\nDesign, configure and implement SAP Event Management (EM) solutions integrated with SAP TM for end-to-end shipment visibility\n\nDefine and manage Event Handler Types, Expected Events, and Reported Events to enable real-time tracking across multicarrier and intermodal transport chains\n\nConfigure Activity Profile and Rule Sets for automated alerts, notifications, and exception handling based on transport milestones\n\nCollaborate with logistics and operations teams to translate business visibility requirements into SAP EM event models and tracking rules\n\nIntegrate SAP EM with external carrier systems, telematics providers, and IoT platforms to capture real-time transport events\n\nSupport implementation of tracking interfaces (EDI, API-based) for last-mile and carrier event updates feeding into SAP EM\n\nDevelop and maintain event-driven reporting and dashboards to provide proactive exception management for operations teams\n\nWork with architects and developers to design BOPF-based or BAdI-based enhancements for custom event processing logic\n\nWe Are Looking For:\nAt least 5 years' hands-on experience in SAP TM as a functional consultant or functional engineer\n\nProven experience in implementing SAP S/4HANA TM module for LSP scenarios with focus on intermodal transportation\n\nStrong experience with TM charges, services, rates, settlement, billing, etc.\n\nHands-on experience with SAP Event Management (EM) - including event handler configuration, expected/reported events, activity profiles and rule sets\n\nExperience integrating SAP EM with SAP TM for freight order and shipment tracking and visibility\n\nExperience working with business process owners in understanding business requirements, analysis, prototyping of solutions, configuration, design and testing\n\nGood understanding of SAP TM architecture across its multiple components\n\nPreferred / Nice-to-Have:\nExperience with carrier connectivity and tracking integrations (EDI, REST/SOAP APIs) feeding into SAP EM\n\nFamiliarity with IoT-based event reporting or telematics integration with SAP EM\n\nExperience with SAP TM and EM in a multicarrier, multi-modal logistics environment\n\nPrior experience in transport management and logistics industry is a clear advantage\n\nExperienced in working in very large projects extending to multiple geographies and sites around the world\n\nExperience in leading a scrum team and coaching team members is an added advantage\n\nCore Competencies:\nAbility to ensure deliverables match the needs of stakeholders\n\nCollaborative mindset across business functions with a clear preference for working as a team\n\nGood problem solving, analytical and communication skills\n\nAbility to work effectively in demanding and fast-paced situations\n\nMaersk is committed to a diverse and inclusive workplace, and we embrace different styles of thinking.
