You will also be tasked with regular process reviews and be expected to drive improvements within crewing operations.\nWe offer\nAn exciting prospect with the world’s largest and most efficient vessel operator, where you will be part of a dynamic and international organization with the possibility to continuously apply and develop your competencies.\nAn opportunity to work in an international work environment in Maersk Fleet Management and Technology in a global environment.\nIn this position, the incumbent will have an opportunity to acquire skills and knowledge in the following areas:\nExposure to crew management related tasks and dynamic Marine HR operations.\nBuilding a good multi-level network across the fleet.\nEnhancing coordination and communication skills especially while dealing with other stakeholders such as Fleet Superintendents, Local Agents and Crew Managers.\nIn addition, Maersk Fleet Management and Technology offers a unique career opportunity for a highly performing employee possessing the necessary skills and competencies.\nKey responsibilities\nReporting to the Crew Manager for Mumbai Crewing, you will be based in Mumbai.\nYou will be responsible for independent management of daily operational responsibilities including:\nManaging assignments for Senior Nautical Officers, Senior Engineer Officers and Cadets in the Maersk fleet flying various flags.\nPlanning, organizing, and monitoring activities related to crew requirements with reference to the E2E Crewing Business Process Guide.\nPlanning timely crew changes and coordinate with concerned parties for its effective implementation.\nWorking with Crewing teams in other locations to ensure that all Maersk vessels are manned in the best manner possible as per requirements.\nConsistently ensuring compliance with Service Level Agreements, SOP’s, and Key Performance Indicators.\nImplementing selection, embarkation, and disembarkation procedures/flights as reflected in the SOP’s and the accountability matrix.\nUpdating crew data in the official database system, as required (COMPAS)\nExecuting responsibilities and tasks in line with what constitutes as good performance as per agreed satisfactory performance standards and metrics (e.g., Objectives and Key Performance Indicators or KPIs)\nDriving efficiency within team through regular process reviews.\nDriving service delivery improvement, providing progress updates on the activities performed.\nAchieving stakeholder satisfaction, reflecting in formal review channels such as the engagement surveys and weekly meetings/performance review meetings.\nWe are looking for\nThe ideal candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's/College degree, Business Studies within Administration/Management combined preferably with 5+ years of experience specializing in Manning/Crewing/Marine HR/Seafaring experience or equivalent.\nYou:\nAre an excellent communicator with impeccable command and fluency in English\nHave a strong natural drive for results, as well as excellent stakeholder management skills.\nPossess a proactive and positive attitude, enthusiasm, and ability to cooperate in an open and constructive manner.\nCan plan and execute in a structured manner, which is critical to succeed in the position.\nCan interact effectively in an international setting with diverse nationalities.\nHave good knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.\nAre strong team player who is self-motivated, adaptable to change and comfortable with ambiguity.\nA background in seafaring would be advantageous\nMaersk is committed to a diverse and inclusive workplace, and we embrace different styles of thinking.
