Platform tooling and integration are key enablers for automation, system quality, and seamless data flow across SAP and non-SAP ecosystems.\nThe Position\nAs a Software Engineer - Architecture & Infrastructure in the SAP Enablement team, you will support the development and operation of SAP infrastructure and platform components.\nYou will work closely with senior engineers, contributing to infrastructure engineering, automation, and platform support, while building foundational skills in SAP architecture, cloud platforms, and DevOps practices.\nKey Responsibilities\nInfrastructure & Platform Support\nAssist in building and maintaining SAP infrastructure components across environments\nSupport implementation of platform configurations for compute, storage, and networking\nHelp ensure platform stability and availability for SAP systems\nCloud & DevOps Enablement\nContribute to cloud infrastructure deployments (Azure preferred) using Infrastructure-as-Code\nSupport CI/CD pipelines, automation, and environment setup activities\nAssist in implementing monitoring, logging, and observability for infrastructure\nSAP Platform Operations\nWork closely with SAP Basis and platform teams to support deployments, patching, and upgrades\nAssist in resolving infrastructure-related issues and incidents\nSupport ongoing lifecycle activities for SAP environments\nArchitecture & Standards Adoption\nFollow defined architecture patterns and infrastructure standards\nContribute to documentation and implementation of reusable infrastructure components\nSupport adherence to security and governance controls\nOperational Excellence\nMonitor systems and assist in troubleshooting performance and reliability issues\nSupport automation of routine operational tasks\nParticipate in continuous improvement activities\nCollaboration & Learning\nWork with Architecture, Infrastructure, SAP Basis, and Engineering teams\nParticipate in technical discussions and learning opportunities\nBuild skills in SAP architecture, cloud platforms, and infrastructure engineering\nOur Ideal Candidate\nFoundational understanding of infrastructure, cloud, or platform engineering\nBasic awareness of SAP systems and enterprise platforms\nInterest in learning cloud, DevOps, and infrastructure engineering practices \nStrong problem-solving mindset and willingness to learn \nAbility to collaborate effectively within engineering teams\nRequired Skills/Experience\n2-5 years of experience in software engineering, infrastructure, or related areas\nBasic knowledge of cloud platforms (Azure preferred)\nFamiliarity with scripting or programming (Python, Bash, or similar)\nUnderstanding of CI/CD, automation, or DevOps concepts\nExposure to networking, systems, or platform fundamentals\nMaersk is committed to a diverse and inclusive workplace, and we embrace different styles of thinking.
