Our extensive experience, connections, and deep expertise across different sectors, industries, and transportation modes, means we can be counted on for process excellence that will save time and money.\nSummary: Supervises and coordinates activities of workers concerned with ordering, receiving, storing, inventorying, and issuing, and shipping materials, supplies, tools, equipment, and parts, in stockroom, warehouse, or yard by performing the following duties.\nResponsibilities:\nReviews inbound appointment log and open order report each day in order to plan work activities.\nPlans inbound and out bound schedules accordingly to meet customer metrics.\nDetermine staffing needs based on workload and schedules staff accordingly.\nAssigns workers to specific duties based on workload and shipping schedules.\nReviews and updates operational procedures assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving\nTracks productivity and qualifies performance by individual, function, and department.\nWorks with Inventory Control to ensure the highest level of inventory accuracy possible.\nManages payroll of department.\nAdvises employees on handling of items received, stored, and shipped; methods and use of equipment in handling, storing, maintaining, and shipping stock; and related problems.\nTraces history of items to determine reasons for discrepancies between inventory and stock control records and recommends remedial actions to resolve discrepancies.\nDetermines work procedures, prepares work schedules, and expedites workflow.\nIssues written and oral instructions.\nEnsures that proper safety procedures are followed.\nMaintains harmony among workers and resolves grievances.\nSupervisory Responsibilities:\nDirectly supervises 20+ employees in the area of Operations.
