The Supervisor will work closely with the Assistant Manager and take responsibility for daily operations, manpower control, inventory accuracy, safety, and quality.\nThe Supervisor is expected to remain closely involved in warehouse operations and lead the team on the floor.\nKey Responsibilities\nManage daily inbound, outbound, and inventory activities. \nAllocate manpower based on daily workloads and operational priorities. \nLead and support ATOs on the warehouse floor. \nMonitor productivity, quality, and inventory accuracy. \nEnsure compliance with SOPs and work instructions. \nEnsure Maersk and customer safety and quality requirements are followed at all times. \nConduct daily operational and safety briefings. \nManage operational issues and escalate them when necessary. \nSupport cycle counts, stocktakes, and investigations into inventory variances. \nEnsure required system transactions are completed accurately and on time. \nTrain and develop ATOs and new team members. \nMaintain 5S and warehouse working standards. \nReport daily performance, issues, and risks to the Assistant Manager. \nSupport root cause analyses and corrective actions. \nSupport continuous improvement activities.\nRequirements\nExperience in warehouse or logistics operations. \nTeam Leader or Supervisor experience is preferred. \nStrong understanding of inbound, outbound, and inventory processes. \nStrong communication and frontline leadership skills. \nExperience with SAP or a WMS is preferred. \nA forklift license is preferred. \nPractical experience operating forklifts or other MHE is strongly preferred. \nA strong safety and quality mindset. \nStrong problem-solving skills. \nJapanese communication skills are required. \nBasic English communication skills are preferred.\nPre-Go-Live Training\nThe Supervisors are expected to join before the February 2027 go-live and receive hands-on training in our existing warehouse operation.\nThe purpose is to understand the current customer operation, systems, safety requirements, and working standards before transitioning to the new operation.\nThe Supervisors are expected to be ready to lead daily operations and the ATO team from day one.\nWhy This Role\nThis is an opportunity to join a completely new warehouse organization from the outset rather than an already established operation.\nYou will be directly involved in establishing daily operations, working standards, and the team in collaboration with the Assistant Manager.\nThrough pre-go-live training and the actual start-up, you will also gain experience in customer operations, systems, safety standards, and inventory management.\nFor someone seeking to progress from frontline warehouse operations into stronger team leadership and operational management, this role offers the opportunity to grow alongside the new operation.\nMaersk is committed to a diverse and inclusive workplace, and we embrace different styles of thinking.
