Our extensive experience, connections, and deep expertise across different sectors, industries, and transportation modes, means we can be counted on for process excellence that will save time and money.\nWe are seeking an Operations Supervisor in West Chester, OH!\nMonday - Friday\nNight shift - 2:30pm-11:30pm\nSummary:\nSupervises and coordinates activities of workers concerned with ordering, receiving, storing, inventorying, issuing, and shipping materials, supplies, tools, equipment, and parts, in stockroom, warehouse, or yard by performing the following duties.\nEssential Duties and Responsibilities:\nMaintain adequate records of inventory adjustments - cycles, physicals and catch weight audits performed\n\nAssist with Inventory Control. Maintains inventory accuracy. Maintain Supply Areas.\n\nInvolves maintaining computerized records of inventory,\n\nPerforming cycle count, investigate variances, adjust inventory records as required\n\nReviews inbound appointment log and open order report each day in order to plan work activities.\n\nPlans inbound and out bound schedules accordingly to meet customer metrics.\n\nDetermines staffing needs based on work load and schedules staff accordingly.\n\nAssigns workers to specific duties based on work load and shipping schedules.\n\nReviews and updates operational procedures as necessary and ensures they are communicated to and understood by the warehouse associates.\n\nTracks productivity and qualifies performance by individual, function, and department.\n\nWorks with Inventory Control to ensure the highest level of inventory accuracy possible.\n\nManages payroll of department.\n\nAdvises employees on handling of items received, stored, and shipped; methods and use of equipment in handling, storing, maintaining, and shipping stock; and related problems.\n\nTraces history of items to determine reasons for discrepancies between inventory and stock control records and recommends remedial actions to resolve discrepancies.\n\nDetermines work procedures, prepares work schedules, and expedites workflow.\n\nIssues written and oral instructions.\n\nEnsures that proper safety procedures are followed.\n\nMaintains harmony among workers and resolves grievances.\n\nPosition is full-time and on-site.\n\nSupervisory Responsibilities\nDirectly supervises 20+ employees in the area of Operations. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws.
