As Warehouse Apprentice one would be responsible for helping Project Manager Electronic Warfare and Cyber (PM EW&C) stand up a new warehouse facility in one of their buildings located at APG, MD.\nEssential Duties and Responsibilities\nDuties include, but not limited to:\nLearn and operate Army Enterprise Resource Planning Tools.\nSort, store, and coordinate the issue of equipment to customers.\nCoordinate the turn-in of equipment from customers.\nPerform inspection of items to ensure quantity and items are not damaged.\nOperate pallet jack, forklift, and other warehouse equipment to move and transport materials.\nBuild and assemble packages for shipment.\nFollow all safety protocols and regulations.\nMaintain clean and safe work area.\nGenerate reports.\nObtain Hazmat Certification within 18 months.\nPrepare HAZDECS as required to support materiel shipments.\nOther Duties May Be Assigned\nRequirements\nMinimum Requirements\nKnowledge and Skills\nUS Citizenship\nMicrosoft Office Skills: Competency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams.\nMust have strong communication skills and the ability to read and interpret plans and instructions.\nAbility to speak, read, and write with proficiency; and comprehend instructions, correspondence, and memos.\nMust possess a valid driver’s license.\nAbility to work independently to address a range of issues while managing time effectively.\nMust possess strong organizational, multi-tasking, and problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a positive attitude.\nDemonstrate flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and schedules.\nClearance\nThe ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret Security Clearance.\nEducation\nHigh School diploma or GED equivalent\nOther Qualifications\nMust be able to stand for long periods of time; up to 8 hours per day up to 5 days a week.\nMust be able to lift/carry/push/slide up to 75 pounds routinely.\nPreferred Qualifications\nSecret Clearance\nBachelors degree\nVocational training or certification is a plus.\nExperience in warehouse operations including equipment receipt and shipment.\nSpecial Note\nThe position is contingent upon candidate’s ability to meet physical and medical requirements as needed by the position; including compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local jurisdictional requirements.\nBenefits and Compensation\nAt MAG Aerospace, we value your contributions providing our employees with a robust Total Rewards package that supports your total well-being. Salary at MAG Aerospace is determined by various factors including but not limited to location, the particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $52,000.00 to $70,000.00 (annualized USD).
