Working closely with the Executive Director of Finance & Digital Transformation, you will lead our corporate finance function, lead the preparation of statutory reporting withing a strong compliance framework, and ensure the delivery of high-quality financial information that supports effective decision-making; including foreign exchange and treasury management.\nLocation: Hybrid, Manchester, UK (with occasional international travel)\nReports to: Executive Director, Finance & Digital Transformation\nDirect Reports: Head of Corporate Finance\nSalary: £68,544 - £77,556\nYou will play a key role in protecting and strengthening MAG's financial health while supporting ambitious organisational growth and transformation.\nAbout the individual\nYou are an experienced, qualified finance professional with a proven track record of leading finance functions in complex, regulated environments.\nYou bring both strategic thinking and operational excellence, together with the ability to inspire teams and build strong relationships across an international organisation.\nEssential Experience\nSenior-level financial leadership and operational finance management. \nWorking within highly regulated environments with strong compliance requirements. \nTreasury management, financial risk management and foreign exchange oversight. \nStatutory reporting, financial consolidation and audit management. \nImplementation and monitoring of robust financial controls. \nLeading organisational change and finance systems transformation. \nManaging financial operations across multiple currencies and jurisdictions. \nEssential Skills & Knowledge\nFully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CIPFA or equivalent). \nOutstanding leadership and people management skills. \nExcellent communication, influencing and stakeholder engagement abilities. \nStrong analytical and decision-making capability. \nKnowledge of international taxation and financial compliance requirements. \nUnderstanding of insurance and risk management processes. \nClosing date: 9am Monday 19 October 2026\nInterview dates: First stage (MS Teams) 29/30 October & second stage in Manchester 6 November\nBenefits\nPension: MAG has a salary sacrifice group personal pension plan in place, and matches employee’s contributions up to 5%. \nLeave: We recognise our staff work hard and need the appropriate time out to stay motivated.
