Ensures adherence to policies, procedures and controls affecting company resources such as capital and cash. Reviews and continuously improves business and information systems within Finance and those crossing functional lines, working closely with the management team. Manages the Finance team of employees including staff levels, training and skill development. Coordinates the Sales and Operation Planning process and ensures the provision of budgeting, planning, and analysis of sales, orders, and arrears information on a continual basis.\nReason for position: Replacement\nCompensation: $105,105 - $115,411\nEssential Duties and Responsibilities\nOversee the timely and accurate delivery of financial information to all levels of management, and parent company \nDevelop and implement business-improvement processes and controls affecting Finance, including financial information systems, and participate on cross-functional improvement teams.\nMaintain appropriate cash controls, financial reporting controls and banking relationships.\nResolve non-routine issues and respond to ad hoc information requests from management and the parent company\nLead internal and external audit engagements, including coordination with company and government agency auditors.\nAlign budget and forecast information with financial reporting requirements.\nCoordinate the timely delivery of sales, orders and arrears information for the Sales and Operations Planning process, including attendance at planning meetings.\nEnsure subledgers, subaccounts and reconciliations are accurate and completed on time.\nDirect employee performance and development; establish and rationalize staffing levels; and communicate company goals, objectives and relevant information.\nEstablish or recommend major financial objectives and policies.\nPrepare reports summarizing and forecasting the company’s business activity and financial position.\nReview monthly and quarterly financial reporting.\nProduce monthly absorption, MRB, excess and obsolete inventory, scrap and rework reports.\nDirect the preparation of annual budgets and monthly and quarterly forecasts.\nEvaluate bid models submitted to Corporate.\nAssess capital expenditure requests for compliance with corporate policies.\nAdvise management on operational adjustments arising from IFRS and tax-code revisions.\nParticipate in management team meetings \nSupervise Finance staff activities to ensure work is completed efficiently and accurately.\nComplete special projects assigned by the Corporate CFO/Controller.\nAbility to operate effectively with high level direction from senior management.
