We know that personal development is fundamental to the success of every individual and invest in our employees.\nWhen you are part of Magellan, you are part of the team!\nSalary:$20.00 to $22.00 per hour\nShift: Monday to Friday 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM\nPosition Summary:\nThe Production Planner generates and is responsible for the accuracy, completeness and release of the Route Card and Certification to process and ship the products.\nEssential Responsibilities:\nReview customer purchase orders, verifying revisions and scope of work. Ensure information on the purchase order is correct and request additional information from customers as necessary.\nGenerate Route Cards from customer purchase order requirements by assigning correct process master in internal Visual Shop software, inputting customer information into Visual Shop, and ensuring all information, specifications and revisions are accurate. Identify orders using appropriate stamps and flags as necessary.\nReview completed Route Cards for completeness, create certifications and print shippers. Ensure all shipping information is correct. Upload or email certifications to customers. Schedule shipping trucks.\nCommunicate with customers to resolve issues, such as count discrepancies.\nPlace orders on hold and obtain information as necessary. Follow-up until released. \nWork with the Quality and production team to prioritize work. \nGeneral office duties, including but not limited to filing, scanning, faxing, phones, data entry, etc.\nAssist in the preparation of external and third party audits.\nParticipate in and maintain 6S.\nPosition Requirements:\nHigh School diploma or equivalent.\nNone required.\nA minimum of 1 year of working in a Planning/Documentation Control Department however similar experience will be considered.\nCommunication, computer literate, contract review/quality assurance practices, detail oriented.\nRead and interpret documents written in English such as procedure manuals, work instructions, software manuals, warehouse work orders and inventories.\nSolve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
