You're the first line of defense before a resume ever reaches a recruiter's desk. You'll hunt down candidates for niche, hard-to-fill roles - running Boolean searches across LinkedIn, job boards, and online communities until the right people surface. Some days it's a slow-burn niche search. Other days it's sourcing, outreach, screening, and scheduling a custom hire, start to finish, in one sitting. This isn't full-cycle recruiting - you won't run interviews or make offers. You'll make the call that decides whether anyone else ever sees the resume at all.\n\nThis role sits within Magic's Boutique team, supporting recruiters across general, niche, and custom-hire requisitions - everything from SDRs and bookkeepers to project managers and full custom accounts. The pool for niche and custom roles is often small, so real sourcing work is the norm, not the exception, and priorities can flip without warning.\n\nShift: 9 AM-6 PM PHT (flex options: 7 AM-4 PM or 8 AM-5 PM), Monday-Friday, reporting to the Recruitment Manager. Your first 30 days are fully dedicated to onboarding. KPI expectations begin at Day 90: Matching Interview Pass Rate ≥60% (monthly), Hire Hit Rate ≥15%, Drop-off Rate \n\nKey Responsibilities\nHunt candidates across LinkedIn, job boards, and online communities - testing Boolean strings until the right people surface\nPartner with recruiters to know exactly what \"qualified\" means for each req\nScreen for real fit and real interest before anyone gets endorsed up the chain\nSchedule niche and custom-hire interviews yourself - scheduling isn't an afterthought here\n Log everything in Penthouse (internal tool) so nothing falls through the cracks\nQualifications & Technical Requirements\n1-3 years of dedicated sourcing experience - you already think like a sourcer\nBoolean search is second nature to you\nYou can juggle multiple reqs at once without dropping a thread\nProfessional written and verbal English\nWFH-ready: 8GB+ RAM, i5/Ryzen 5+, 40 Mbps+ internet with backup, noise-cancelling headset\n\nWhy You'll Be a Great Fit\nYou re-engage a cold pipeline instead of waiting it out. You can lose a whole day to one gnarly custom req and still hit your other numbers. You can spot a great candidate before a recruiter ever opens the profile - and recruiters trust you because your handoffs are clean every time, not just when it's convenient.\n\nQuick gut check: can you go from a slow-burn niche search to an all-day sourcing-and-scheduling sprint without losing your rhythm? Comfortable building a pipeline from nothing but a Boolean string and good instinct?\nApplication Process\nApplication → Recruiter Screening → Hiring Manager Review → Second Interview → Final Interview → Offer\nCompensation & Benefits\n₱32,000-₱38,000/month · 100% remote, Philippines-based · HMO, SSS, PhilHealth, Pag-IBIG, 13th month pay, paid time off · Full training on Penthouse (Magic's in-house ATS), no prior ATS experience required\nWhy Magic?\n\nWe're ambitious, driven, and unapologetically the type to plow through obstacles instead of waiting for perfect conditions. Our work dynamic is genuinely different - dynamic, friendly conversations, zero politics, and no hierarchy standing in your way. You can talk to anyone, on any team, about anything (yes, even the small stuff), because we respect each other's time and actually like working together. Y Combinator and Sequoia-backed, thousands of remote workers strong, and growing.","description_format":"text","description_chars":3728,"description_truncated":false,"requirements":{"experience_years_min":1,"management_years_min":null,"team_size_min":null,"manages_managers":false,"education":null,"security_clearance":false,"languages":[{"language":"English","level":"All levels","optional":false}]},"benefits":[],"hiring_locations":[{"name":"Philippines","iso":"PH","kind":"country"}],"hiring_excludes":[],"relocation_offered":false,"industries":[],"lifecycle":[{"event":"open","at":"2026-10-13T13:50:04Z"}],"visa":[],"liveness":{"score":9,"band":"cold","label":"Long shot","p_open":1,"p_active":0.269,"p_room":0.35,"age_days":12,"expected_fill_days":6,"reasons":["conf:1","agency","win:tail","comp:junior"],"computed_at":"2026-10-25T05:49:26Z"},"pay":{"stated_usd_annual":7248,"is_top_pay":false},"html_url":"https://alion.io/job/magic-sourcing-specialist-full-time-remote","json_url":"https://alion.io/job/magic-sourcing-specialist-full-time-remote.json","meta":{"generated_at":"2026-10-25T09:46:17Z","cache_seconds":300,"methodology":"https://alion.io/methodology","terms":"https://alion.io/terms","contact":"https://alion.io/contact","api":"https://alion.io/developers","about":"Alion is a live layer of people, companies and AI agents: who they are, whether they are real and active right now, what they do and how to work with them, readable by people and by agents and paid per call.","catalog":"https://alion.io/catalog.json","usage":{"tier":"crawler_verified","counted_by":"address","units_charged":1,"used_today":13960,"day_limit":null,"remaining_today":null,"minute_limit":300,"resets_at":"2026-10-26T00:00:00Z"}},"offers":[{"id":"company.slices","title":"One company in depth, by slice","status":"live","price":{"credits":0.02,"usd":0.002,"plus_per_slice":{"credits":0.05,"usd":0.005}},"unit":"per company, plus each slice with data","note":"the employer in depth","call":{"mcp_tool":"get_company","arguments":{"id":1815027},"rest":"https://alion.io/mcp/rest/get_company?id=1815027"},"human":"https://alion.io/catalog?offer=company.slices&for=job%2Fmagic-sourcing-specialist-full-time-remote"},{"id":"market.stats","title":"A market slice: pay, demand and time to fill","status":"live","price":{"credits":1,"usd":0.1},"unit":"per slice","note":"pay, demand and time to fill for this role and place","call":{"mcp_tool":"market_stats"},"human":"https://alion.io/catalog?offer=market.stats&for=job%2Fmagic-sourcing-specialist-full-time-remote"},{"id":"job.search","title":"Open jobs by role, technology, place, pay and visa","status":"live","price":{"credits":0.02,"usd":0.002},"unit":"per posting in a list","note":"similar open postings","call":{"mcp_tool":"search_jobs"},"human":"https://alion.io/catalog?offer=job.search&for=job%2Fmagic-sourcing-specialist-full-time-remote"},{"id":"company.verify","title":"Is this company real and active right now","status":"pilot","price":null,"unit":"per company","request":{"url":"https://alion.io/catalog/request","method":"POST","body":"{\"offer\": \"company.verify\", \"for\": \"job/magic-sourcing-specialist-full-time-remote\", \"note\": \"what you need it for\"}"},"human":"https://alion.io/catalog?offer=company.verify&for=job%2Fmagic-sourcing-specialist-full-time-remote"}]}
