Combining a deep systems knowledge to develop unique vehicle access experiences, intelligent visions systems and advanced automotive lighting technologies, MML's expertise light the path to innovation, safety and styling.\nJob Responsibilities:\nSalary Range: $60,000 - $80,000\nResponsibilities\nLead, participate in, and approve Customer Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) supporting program timing\nEnsure all APQP requirements are tracked and met using planned milestones\nReview required government approvals and develop inspection standards where applicable\nLead plant trials for engineering changes, tool moves, and new program launches\nLead problem-solving for launch quality concerns (pre-SOP), including 8D, 7-Step, 5-Phase, Is/Is Not, and 6-Panel methods\nParticipate in warranty reviews where applicable\nManage new model launch (pre-SOP) field support to ensure effective containment and timely issue closure\nCoordinate and participate in internal and supplier drawing reviews\nPrepare and maintain control plans in accordance with MQS 7\nDevelop receiving inspection matrices and instructions\nDevelop Product Validation (PV) plans including reliability and confidence requirements\nImplement safe launch plans for new programs\nParticipate in PFMEA reviews and sign-offs\nVerify BOM accuracy during program launches\nFacilitate supplier deviation requests through closure\nCoordinate early supplier involvement with design and purchasing\nEnsure adherence to Platform Execution Process (PEP) requirements\nPrepare and present Launch Readiness Reviews (LRR)\nEstablish and approve supplier PPAP timing prior to PV testing\nSupport pre-production builds\nConduct PV test fixture verification and setup reviews\nEnsure appropriate test parts are built and delivered to test labs\nReview in-process testing and post-test results\nLead Test Incident Report (TIR) investigations and 8D responses\nConduct annual validation testing as required by customers\nOther duties as may be assigned by the supervisor or designate\nQualifications and Skills:\nCompletion of community college diploma/certificate.\n3 to less than 5 years of work related experience.\nCompletion of a post-secondary education program in mechanical/quality engineering\nASQC certification as a quality engineer (CQE) preferred\nTier I automotive experience preferred\nSite Benefits:\nA great work experience with a diverse and dedicated workforce\n\nA strong focus on safety and health and wellness (fitness membership discounts)\n\nFive and a half (5.5.) paid floater days\n\nCompetitive extended health benefits\n\nGroup RRSP matching program\n\nProfit Sharing Plan\n\nEducation Reimbursement Program\n\nContinuous Improvement and Development Culture\n\nAwareness, Unity, Empowerment:\nAt Magna, we believe that a diverse workforce is critical to our success.
