This role will play a critical part in driving digital transformation initiatives, improving operational efficiency, and enabling smart factory capabilities.\nYou will collaborate with cross-functional teams including manufacturing, quality, IT, and engineering to deliver scalable AI-driven solutions that create measurable business impact.\nKey Responsibilities\nDesign, develop, and deployAI/ML models for manufacturing optimization, predictive maintenance, and quality analytics\n\nLead end-to-end AI solution lifecycle: data acquisition, model development, validation, deployment, and monitoring\n\nCollaborate with production and engineering teams to identifyautomation and optimization opportunities\n\nBuild and maintaindata pipelines and scalable AI architectures\n\nApply advanced techniques incomputer vision, NLP, and time-series analysis for industrial use cases\n\nMentor junior engineers and promotebest practices in AI development\n\nEnsure solutions align with Magna’sdigital transformation and Industry 4.0 strategy\n\nMinimum Qualifications\n Bachelor’sormaster’s degree in computer science, Data Science, Engineering, or related field\n 5+ years of experience inAI/ML developmentin industrial or enterprise environments including 3rdpart systems integration\n Strongprogramming skills in Python and experience with AI frameworks (TensorFlow,PyTorch, etc.)\n Experienceworking with RDBMS and NoSQL database systems (e.g., SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, etc.)\n Experiencewith data engineering(Databricks, Microsoft Fabric), cloud platforms (Azure, AWS) and deployment pipelines\n Solidunderstanding ofstatistical modeling and machine learning algorithms\n Hands-on experience with Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban,SAFe)\n Fluentin Spanish (mandatory) and professional working proficiency in English\nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience in theautomotive or manufacturing industry\n\nKnowledge ofIndustry 4.0 technologies, IoT, and smart factories\n\nHands-on experience with computer vision (e.g., defect detection)\n\nFamiliarity withMLOpspractices and model lifecycle management\n\nAwareness, Unity, Empowerment:\nAt Magna, we believe that a diverse workforce is critical to our success.
