Because we believe that your career path should be as unique as you are.\nGroup Summary:\nThe Magna Exteriors portfolio of products includes access systems such as liftgates, exterior trim, modular systems, front-end modules including fascia, active aerodynamic systems and other lightweight structural components for automotive, commercial truck and other industrial markets.\nRecognized globally as an innovator in all aspects of vehicle exteriors, Magna provides everything needed, from materials development and design through manufacturing and assembly, to help automakers create sleek, state-of-the-art vehicles across the world.\nJob Responsibilities:\nGeneral Job Duties:\nTo exhibit an objective, fair and professional attitude that exemplifies the principles outlined in The Magna Employee’s Charter to maintain a positive and productive workplace.\nTo exhibit teamwork skills and actively participate in team activities in a positive working environment.\nTo demonstrate problem solving skills in a work environment that is striving for continuous improvement.\nTo follow Decostar policies and display conduct expected of Decostar employees as described in the employee handbook.\nTo follow safety rules of Decostar and work in a manner that is conducive to maintaining a safe and healthful workplace.  To report all accidents immediately.\nSpecific Job Duties:\nSupport mission critical Just in Sequence/Time (JIS/JIT) Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES).\nSupport multiple SQL databases using clustered and mirrored environments.\nSetup/maintain and troubleshoot high availability systems.\nEnsure LAN/WAN capabilities are maximized through effective network administration, high levels of systems security and a timely, reliable, accurate systems recovery program.\nDevelop, test and maintain system recovery procedures and disaster recovery plans.\nDevelop, test and maintain documented systems procedures/work instructions - train end users.\nSupport the maintenance and trouble-shooting requirements of information systems for Decostar.\nHelp determine reasons for equipment failures and advise on corrective and preventive actions to eliminate future safety, quality or downtime issues.\nSupport Communication devices including cell phones, phone system, and 2 way radios.\nMaintain and support front office systems including: Solidat, AutoCAD, Office 365, etc.\nParticipate in internal audits (SOX,TS,ISO).\nPerforms such other reasonable duties as may be assigned from time to time.\nSkills and Experience Required:\nMinimum of 3 years experience in Information Systems with a strong manufacturing background, preferably in the Tier 1 OEM automotive parts industry. MES systems experience a plus\nStrong background in Microsoft Systems Administration (AD, DHCP, DNS, Server, Group Policy Management, etc.)\nBackground in VMWare cluster environments and maintenance (ESXi).\nMust have a working knowledge of relational database applications.\nProgramming SQL stored procedures, functions and triggers a plus OR Intermediate programming (C#, VB, ASP.NET, java, etc) a plus\nHand-held devices; bar code scanners, RF tag-readers, card readers.\nMust have the ability to solve problems quickly and automate processes.\nMust have basic administrative knowledge of the Windows and Linux servers.\nMust prepare process flow diagrams.\nExperience with Microsoft office applications (Word, Excel, Power point)\nAbility to communicate effectively and work both independently and well with others.\nAbility to work off hour shifts & weekends\nEducation:\nBachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, MIS, CIS, or related study or equivalent experience.\nHigh School diploma and 3 years IT related experience may be substituted in lieu of degree. Work experience combined with current schooling towards degree will be considered.\nPhysical Requirements:\nThis position requires a person to have the ability to perform work while standing or walking a minimum of eight (8) hours a day and manage stairs on an occasional basis.\nThis position requires the ability to perform work which is below the knees and above the shoulders on an occasional basis.\nDecostar Training Requirements\nYou will receive training to perform your job on an on-going basis concurrent with Decostar business operations.
