Your tasks will span strategic planning, daily operations, and cross-functional coordination to ensure efficient and cost-effective transport flows.\nPlanning and ensuring production supply for all deliveries as well as coordination with external service providers\n\nOperational handling and monitoring of inbound and outbound material transports for all programs\n\nOptimization of operational execution and transport cost efficiency through dashboard evaluations and continuous process improvement\n\nEnsuring on-time transport execution and strategic planning in both inbound and outbound logistics\n\nVerification of invoices from various transport service providers\n\nIssuance of credit notes to transport service providers\n\nFreight cost savings for MS Mesa\n\nCreation of claims and forwarding of costs to transport service providers\n\nKey user for MAGNA Transport Management System\n\nPlan and coordinate material deliveries including special transport requirements\n\nAnalyze material data to support transport scheduling, time budget calculations, and corrective actions\n\nMonitor and manage daily transport operations, ensuring alignment with service providers and internal stakeholders\n\nCreate and revise operational standards and work instructions to support process consistency and continuous improvement\n\nAct as a key interface between transport service providers, internal departments, and OEM partners\n\nSupport the planning and integration of new logistics projects and ensure seamless operational transitions\n\nAssessment of current processes and identification of improvement opportunities\n\nImplementation of dashboard-based performance targets and continuous updates\n\nCoordination with 4PL (Fourth-Party Logistics Provider) on guideline reviews, tool evaluation, and SharePoint data usage\n\nTraining and quality control of new logistics service providers (LSPs)\n\nCost monitoring and data preparation for billing and freight controlling\n\nMonthly invoicing of material services and variance analysis (planned vs. actual costs)\n\nCreate and manage EMS tickets to document and track transport-related issues\n\nConduct daily track & trace activities and provide regular updates through emails, reports, and stakeholder communication\n\nPlan and deploy expedited transports for materials\n\nParticipate in regular coordination meetings with LSPs and 4PL (Fourth-Party Logistics Provider) to drive process optimization\n\nHandle operational disruptions and changes (e.g., weather impacts, production fluctuations, process adjustments) through proactive issue resolution\n\nCoordinate and execute daily transport operations in collaboration with logistics service providers (LSPs), 4PL (Fourth-Party Logistics Provider), and internal stakeholders\n\nEnsure alignment of transport planning with Material Control (MC), 4PL (Fourth-Party Logistics Provider), and LSPs\n\nMonitor transport processes to ensure compliance with established procedures and initiate corrective actions when needed\n\nOperational transport execution\n\nCoordination of transport planning with MC and 4PL (Fourth-Party Logistics Provider)\n\nMonitoring compliance with established processes\n\nOngoing communication and updates via emails and reports\n\nIdentification of improvement potential and support in transport-related matters\n\nDaily review of delivery monitoring and data provision\n\nData cleansing in case of errors in the tracking system, including corrective actions\n\nContent-based and tariff-based verification of freight forwarder invoices\n\nReview of freight charges, delivery terms, and compliance with routing orders\n\nBusiness unit-specific allocation of incurred freight costs\n\nCause-based assignment of freight costs (e.g. to business units, projects, etc.)\n\nCoordination with freight forwarders and training on Magna-compliant invoicing\n\nContent-based and tariff-based verification of freight forwarder invoices\n\nReview of tours using the SAP delivery confirmations\n\nManual status updates\n\nPost-processing of loading and unloading points, including offer-based verification\n\nHandling of transport service provider claims\n\nIssuance of credit notes\n\nCoordination with freight forwarders and training on Magna-compliant processing\n\nCondition Management (Entering and updating quotations)\n\nInternal forwarding to the responsible case handler and external forwarding to MAGNA 4PL (Fourth-Party Logistics Provider), or the relevant logistics service provider\n\nDocumenting master data changes internally and forwarding them to 4PL (Fourth-Party Logistics Provider) for implementation\n\nCreating system/process bug/ support tickets\n\nFirst level support contact person for TMS users\n\nTraining service providers during system or process changes\n\nYour preferred qualifications\nExperience in the automotive manufacturing industry of 3-5 years.\nStrong expertise in transport, logistics, and procurement processes.\nProficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Power Point) and SAP\nFreight forwarding or transport service experience\nSite
