We are looking for a passionate individual who is self learner, has good communication skills and inclination for new technologies.\nYour Responsibilities\nCollaborate closely with stakeholders and other engineers to develop new and unique data-driven solutions using Big Data platforms, creative analytical methods, and data visualization techniques (Data Modeling etc.)\n\nConnect and build pipelines between various data sources\n\nSupport operational improvement and business decision making through ad-hoc statistical analysis of curated enterprise data and self-constructed data sets\n\nLeading BI software development, deployment, and maintenance\n\nDocumenting contents in a data warehouse and meta-data storage\n\nCreating technical documentation for BI tools\n\nData modeling\n\nDevelop KPI dashboards\n\nPerform additional duties as assigned\n\nAct with honesty and integrity and make ethical business choices in accordance with Magna’s Compliance Policies and Procedures\n\nWho we are looking for\nBachelor’s Degree in Business, Engineering, Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics, Supply Chain or equivalent combination of education and experience\n\nMinimum three (3) years of related experience required\n\nExpertise in using advance level calculations on the data sets\n\nIn-depth understanding of database management systems, online analytical processing (OLAP) and ETL (Extract, transform, load) framework\n\nStrong experience with relational databases like SQL Server, MySQL, and Oracle. NoSQL databases experience is a plus\n\nExperience with user-defined workflows\n\nYour preferred qualifications\nWorking knowledge of data management software like Data factory, or other ETL tools a plus.\n\nKnowledgeable of statistical methods such as regression, probability analysis, risk analysis, statistical process control, and clustering is desired\n\nAble to implement row level security on data and understand application security layer models\n\nData and business analysis background\n\nProficient with Microsoft Office applications, specifically Excel, Word, and PowerPoint\n\nAbility to explain Production / technical concepts and analysis implications clearly to a wide audience and be able to translate business objectives into actionable analyses.\n\nWhat we offer\nAt Magna, you can expect an engaging and dynamic environment where you can help to develop industry-leading automotive technologies.
