Through our robust product engineering, outstanding tooling capabilities and diverse process expertise, we continue to bring lightweight and innovative products to market.\nJob Responsibilities:\nTo repair and troubleshoot base building and facilities equipment efficiently, safely and in accordance with the electrical codes\nMinimum Requirements\nSalary starting at $48.01 per hour.\nImmediate, open position.\nCertified Electrician (309A).\nMinimum five years’ experience in an industrial environment preferably in automotive or fast paced environment.\nPhysically capable of performing essential duties of the job.\nWorking with heights and confined space.\nPrevious experience with base building facilities systems, medium voltage, water cooling systems, compressed air systems, cranes.\nGood interpersonal and communication skills and is results oriented.\nHas an exemplary attitude towards housekeeping, safety, and company policies.\nCommitment to continuous improvement and workplace safety.\nBasic computer skills.\nJob Specific Responsibilities\nUnderstands and reads all schematics and drawings associated with the trade.\nBuild new machinery and equipment with minimum supervision.\nTroubleshoots actives and new machinery and equipment with minimum supervision.\nCommitted to continuous improvement on machinery, equipment, processes, and PM system.\nBasic PLC and troubleshooting.\nTrains apprentices in all aspects of machine and equipment, repair, and safety.\nGeneral Responsibilities\nAble to use all equipment and machinery related to the trade requirements.\nMeets schedules set by Maintenance Team leaders.\nWork within the guidelines of the Karmax Employee Handbook.\nIATF16949 & ISO14001 awareness and adherence.\nAccepts personal responsibility to plan and conduct their work safely in compliance with the Occupational Health & Safety Act as well as company policies and guidelines.\nResponsible for Good House Keeping in your area.\nAwareness, Unity, Empowerment:\nAt Magna, we believe that a diverse workforce is critical to our success.
