With 65+ years of expertise, our ecosystem of interconnected products combined with our complete vehicle expertise uniquely positions us to advance mobility in an expanded transportation landscape.\nJob Responsibilities:\nThe Engineer, Cybersecurity Architecture helps the Information Security Risk and Compliance (ISRC) group with general technical and compliance related tasks. The role requires basic knowledge of computing platforms, environments, compliance frameworks as well as experience with scripting languages.\nMajor Responsibilities\nBasic maintenance of computing systems used by group\n\nAnalysis of Firewall policies and overall security information\n\nHelp provide oversight for security settings in Cloud platforms\n\nStay current on security trends (solutions, processes, attacks, threat-vectors...)\n\nProvide feedback to improve Magna's overall enterprise security\n\nKnowledge and Education\nCollege degree or comparable work experience.\n\nFamiliarity with:\nBasic experience with Python, PHP or other scripting languages\n\nSecurity settings in Cloud platforms\n\nNetworking basics\n\nCybersecurity frameworks / regulations\n\nFirewall Policies and Configurations\n\nDatabase concepts\n\nIntegration with APIs\n\nSkills and Competencies\nAble to communicate in English (listening, writing, speaking)\n\nAnalytical and problem-solving abilities\n\nExperience working in a disperse, cross-cultural, global team\n\nAbility to effectively prioritize and execute tasks\n\nHighly self-motivated, having the ability to work independently on projects from beginning to completion.\n\nWork Environment:\nNormal amount of sitting or standing, average mobility to move around an office environment, able to conduct normal amount of work at a computer\n\nLimited overnight travel (less than 10% of the time)\n\nWork Conditions:\nOn-call availability and occasional evening and weekend work to meet deadlines.\n\nAwareness, Unity, Empowerment:\nAt Magna, we believe that a diverse workforce is critical to our success.
