As a global automotive supplier and full-system partner, Magna brings together expertise across Mechatronics and Mirror systems to deliver integrated solutions that support the evolution of vehicle architectures.\nJob Responsibilities:\nJob Description:\nAct independently at the organizational level.\nResponsible for Kaizen activities and supplier follow-up/spare maintenance\nExperience in Plant Maintenance within Automotive Industry\nGood technical & practical knowledge of assembly line & automotive products.\nAttend daily meetings and update the status to top management\nGeneral and Task Management\nPerform preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance of assembly line equipment.\nEnsure smooth operation of conveyors, manipulators, pneumatic systems, and production machinery.\nTroubleshoot electrical, PLC, sensor, VFD, servo motor, and automation-related issues.\nReduce machine downtime and improve equipment reliability.\nMaintain maintenance records, checklists, and reports.\nSupport installation, commissioning, and improvement projects.\nCoordinate with production teams to achieve daily production targets.\nFollow safety, quality, and TPM standards.\nPLC troubleshooting (Mitsubishi)\nElectrical panel maintenance\nPneumatic and hydraulic system knowledge\nRoot Cause Analysis (RCA)\nKnowledge of TPM, 5S, and safety practices\nKnowledge of IATF documentation.\nReduce MTTR & Improve MTBF\nAbility to read electrical and pneumatic drawings.\nExperience in assembly line maintenance and automation systems.\nUnderstanding of electrical panels, sensors, drives, VFDs, and control circuits.\nRobot and PLC programming\nMaintain and repair Mechanical, Electrical and Electronic systems and equipment\nAssist in running an efficient maintenance operation which is able to fulfil operational and customer demand and meet set targets\nResponsible for the safety of individuals on the team and that of those impacted by any maintenance activity\nUnderstand and work in accordance with the company’s quality requirements\nPerform effective diagnosis of breakdowns and timely repair of equipment to maximize availability\nPerform scheduled planned preventative maintenance in accordance to minimized unplanned downtime\nRecord and document all work carried out on all equipment on both paper and electronic systems as is required\nAnalysis of issues to root cause and development of countermeasures, improvement actions and/or suggestions to improve\nControl and source maintenance tools, equipment and spares\nDocument breakdowns, identifying root cause and remedial action to help identify and resolve recurring issues\nUnderstand and maintain high standards of tidiness and organization in line with good 5S (Sort, Set In Order, Shine, Standardize, Sustain) practice\nUnderstand and work in accordance with mandatory requirements of Health, Safety and Environmental requirements\nWrite reports and present progress at project meetings\nQuality control of work by appropriate reviews\nApply specific technical skills as required to support expediting issues quickly to minimize downtime\nPlan longer range for projects, tracking and completing projects on time within budget.
