from concept phase through mass production and is responsible for the development, verification, and release of electronic hardware designs according to product development schedules.\nThe Hardware Design Engineer is responsible for developing robust, cost-effective, and manufacturable electronic hardware solutions that satisfy customer requirements while ensuring compliance with automotive quality, reliability, safety, and EMC requirements.\nLeverage deep technical expertise in automotive electronics, circuit design, power architecture, hardware verification, and product development to contribute to successful project execution.\nAs a technical contributor, collaborate closely with system, software, mechanical, manufacturing, and supplier teams to deliver high-quality products.\nKey Responsibilities:\nHardware Development\nPlan and execute hardware development activities in accordance with project schedules.\nAnalyze system requirements and derive hardware requirements.\nDesign electronic hardware architectures and circuit implementations.\nDevelop analog, digital, power, and communication interface circuits.\nSelect and evaluate electronic components.\nSupport processor, memory, power management, and communication architecture development.\nReview and approve hardware design deliverables.\nDesign Verification\nDefine hardware verification strategies and test plans.\nReview hardware verification methods and test results.\nVerify compliance with design requirements and customer specifications.\nSupport DV, PV, and production validation activities.\nQuality and Reliability\nApply automotive design best practices for robustness and reliability.\nSupport EMC, ESD, thermal, and environmental robustness activities.\nParticipate in DFMEA, DRBFM, design reviews, and risk assessments.\nLead technical root-cause investigations for hardware issues.\nSupport corrective and preventive action activities.\nProject Execution\nEstimate hardware development effort and cost.\nSupport project planning and task breakdown activities.\nAnalyze engineering change requests from a hardware perspective.\nTrack hardware development progress and report status to stakeholders.\nInterface with suppliers regarding technical design topics.\nCustomer and Cross-Functional Collaboration\nParticipate in customer technical discussions related to hardware topics.\nCollaborate with system, software, mechanical, manufacturing, quality, safety, and test teams.\nSupport technical reviews with customers and suppliers.\nContribute to successful product release and launch.\nRequirements:\nMust Have\nTechnical Competencies\nStrong competency in automotive electronic hardware design.\nIn-depth knowledge of analog, digital, and power electronics.\nStrong troubleshooting and root-cause analysis skills.\nKnowledge of hardware verification and validation methodologies.\nKnowledge of microprocessor and SoC-based hardware architectures.\nExperience with automotive communication interfaces such as CAN, CAN FD, LIN, Automotive Ethernet, SPI, I2C, and UART.\nUnderstanding of automotive product development processes.\nAutomotive Development Knowledge\nPractical experience in ISO 26262 compliant product development, including ASIL-B or higher programs.\nBasic understanding of automotive EMC, electrical, and environmental validation requirements.\nLeadership and Communication\nStrong communication and collaboration skills.\nAbility to drive technical discussions and influence technical decisions.\nAbility to work effectively within cross-functional teams.\nEducation, Qualification, and Experience:\nBachelor's degree or higher in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or a related discipline.\nExperience in automotive electronic hardware development.\n5+ years of practical experience in electronic circuit design.\n5+ years of practical experience in hardware verification and validation, troubleshooting, and root-cause analysis.\nExperience conducting and facilitating design reviews, DFMEA, FTA, and DRBFM activities.\nNative-level Japanese and business-level English 25, ISO 11452, and ISO 7637.\nExperience supporting EMC qualification and compliance testing.\nLeadership and Communication\nAbility to mentor and develop junior hardware engineers.\nExperience leading hardware development activities across global teams.\nExperience serving as technical lead or hardware architect.\nAdditional Experience\nExperience with memory subsystem design (DDR, LPDDR,
