Combining a deep systems knowledge to develop unique vehicle access experiences, intelligent visions systems and advanced automotive lighting technologies, MML's expertise light the path to innovation, safety and styling.\nJob Responsibilities:\nJob Summary\nThe Human Resources Development & Recruiting role plays a critical role in creating a positive and engaging employee experience from the first point of contact through successful onboarding and integration into the organization. This position is responsible for coordinating internal and external recruiting activities, conducting interviews, managing temporary employee conversions, supporting new hire onboarding and orientation programs, ensuring compliance with HR policies and procedures, and maintaining accurate employee records. The ideal candidate is passionate about employee onboarding, relationship building, organization, and delivering exceptional support to new hires, hiring managers, and staffing partners.\nKey Responsibilities\nConduct internal and external candidate interviews for hourly and salaried positions.\nPartner with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and candidate requirements.\nCoordinate interview schedules and candidate communications.\nMaintain candidate tracking and hiring documentation.\nSupport recruitment events, job fairs, and community outreach initiatives as needed.\nServe as the primary HR contact for temporary staffing agencies.\nBuild and maintain strong relationships with staffing partners.\nMonitor temporary employee performance, attendance, and eligibility for conversion.\nCoordinate and process temporary-to-permanent employee conversions.\nEnsure all required documentation is completed accurately and timely.\nManage the complete onboarding process for new hires.\nCoordinate pre-employment requirements and onboarding activities.\nPrepare and distribute onboarding materials and new hire paperwork.\nOrganize and facilitate new employee orientation sessions.\nEnsure a welcoming and positive first-day experience for all new employees.\nPartner with department leaders to support successful employee integration and retention.\nEnsure compliance with federal, state, local, and company employment regulations.\nComplete regular audits of employee files and HR documentation.\nMaintain accurate employee records within HR systems.\nVerify and process employment documentation, policy acknowledgments, and onboarding forms.\nSupport internal and external audits as required.\nProtect the confidentiality of employee information.\nRespond to employee questions regarding onboarding, policies, benefits, and HR processes.\nAssist with employee status changes and personnel transactions.\nSupport HR programs, initiatives, and employee engagement activities.\nGenerate reports and maintain HR metrics as needed.\nProvide administrative support for various HR functions and special projects.\nPerform all duties and responsibilities outlined above, as well as other related responsibilities and assignments as directed by management or authorized personnel.\nQualifications\nEducation & Experience\nAssociate's or Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.\n2+ years of experience in Human Resources, recruiting, onboarding, or employee relations preferred.\nExperience working with staffing agencies and temporary workforce management is strongly preferred.\nManufacturing or production environment experience is preferred.\nKnowledge, Skills & Abilities\nPassion for creating an exceptional onboarding and employee experience.\nStrong interpersonal and relationship-building skills.\nExcellent organizational and time management abilities.\nAbility to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.\nStrong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.\nKnowledge of employment laws, HR compliance requirements, and HR best practices.\nExcellent verbal and written communication skills.\nProficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and HRIS systems.\nAbility to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion.\nPreferred Characteristics\nPositive, customer-service-focused attitude.\nHighly organized with strong follow-through.\nPassionate about helping employees feel welcomed and supported.\nSkilled at building partnerships with staffing agencies, hiring managers, and employees.\nProactive problem-solver with a continuous improvement mindset.\nComfortable interacting with employees at all organizational levels.\nAwareness, Unity, Empowerment:\nAt Magna, we believe that a diverse workforce is critical to our success.
