Because we believe that your career path should be as unique as you are.\nGroup Summary:\nThe Magna Exteriors portfolio of products includes access systems such as liftgates, exterior trim, modular systems, front-end modules including fascia, active aerodynamic systems and other lightweight structural components for automotive, commercial truck and other industrial markets.\nRecognized globally as an innovator in all aspects of vehicle exteriors, Magna provides everything needed, from materials development and design through manufacturing and assembly, to help automakers create sleek, state-of-the-art vehicles across the world.\nJob Responsibilities:\nGENERAL JOB DUTIES\nAbility to resolve support calls within the defined SLA.\nInstall, configure, and maintain computer hardware, software, and peripherals.\nTroubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network issues in a timely manner.\nProvide technical support to end-users, including diagnosing and resolving technical problems.\nSet up and maintain user accounts, permissions, and security settings.\nMonitor and maintain computer systems and networks to ensure optimal performance and security.\nCollaborate with other IT team members to implement and maintain IT policies and procedures.\nDocument IT processes, procedures, and troubleshooting steps for knowledge sharing.\nConduct floor-level training on new equipment.\nFlexible Shift - Based on Department Manager’s needs. Must be able to support weekend production.\nComplete and communicate end-of-shift notes, including issues observed on the floor and project completion updates.\nVisibly lead and support all Manga Exteriors’ goals as set forth in objectives and targets.\nTrain end-users on the proper use of the MES system and provide ongoing support.\nInstall, configure, and maintain the MES software and hardware components.\nQUALIFICATIONS\nHigh school diploma or equivalent.\nProven experience as an IT Technician or in a similar role.\nStrong knowledge of computer hardware, software, and networking concepts.\nProficiency in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues.\nFamiliarity with Windows and Linux operating systems.\nKnowledge of retrieving data from a database using SELECT statements, including filtering, sorting, and limiting results.\nExperience with Active Directory, DHCP, and other network protocols.\nExcellent problem-solving and analytical skills.\nStrong communication and interpersonal skills.\nAbility to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.\nAttention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.\nPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS\nCertifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, or Microsoft Certified IT Professional (MCITP).\nExperience in the automotive industry or a manufacturing environment.\nKnowledge of automotive-specific software applications and systems.\nMUST MEET QUALIFICATIONS TO APPLY\n 4 points or less.
