Through our robust product engineering, outstanding tooling capabilities and diverse process expertise, we continue to bring lightweight and innovative products to market.\nJob Responsibilities:\nImmediate Opening\nSalary Range $72,898 - $86,800 per year\nREQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:\n1. Diploma or Degree in Manufacturing, Mechanical or Industrial Engineering.\n2. 1-3 years of manufacturing or engineering experience.\n3. Working knowledge of CAD software such as NX, CATIA, SolidWorks or AutoCAD.\n4. Understanding of GD&T, APQP, PPAP and PFMEA principles.\n5. Strong organizational, analytical and communication skills.\n6. Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.\nDUTIES:\nKey Responsibilities\nCreate, modify and maintain 2D and 3D CAD models, drawings and assembly layouts.\nProcess customer CAD data and translate files into usable engineering formats.\nMaintain engineering databases, CAD directories, BOM structures and drawing records.\nEnsure current CAD, GD&T and engineering documentation are accurately controlled and archived.\nSupport engineering changes by updating drawings, models, BOMs and related records.\nAssist with launch activities, equipment reviews and production readiness activities.\nDevelop detailed component, fixture, tooling and poka-yoke drawings.\nSupport PFMEA, control plan and process documentation updates.\nTrack engineering change timing, status and completion requirements.\nPrepare reports, engineering documentation and project summaries.\nWork with production, quality, maintenance and suppliers to resolve technical issues.\nParticipate in root cause analysis and corrective action activities.\nCAD Job Duties:\nReceive and transmit CAD and math data and drawings from various vendors and customers. Knowledge in using TeamCenter and FTP.\nPrepare detailed part prints and modify 3-D model files if required for engineering changes.\nCreate/Modify/Extract CAD details from assembly and sub-assembly models and drawings. Be able to create and modify assemblies in NX and Catia.\"\nCustomer CAD software knowledge and experience in some or all of the following: CATIA v5, IDEAS, Unigraphics, including 3D modelling and CAD EDI.\nEng. Change Database Job Duties:\nIssue Cost and Timing and/or Proceeds out to the cross functional team as requested by the program manager, Engineering DL. Created Die sheets and distribute to Materials dept. Create IMDS required BOM's and distribute to IMDS team. Review and follow with IMDS team, once approved distribute file the IMDS numbers in Eng. Change Database.\nFollow up and inform the Business and Program Manager(s) when all impacts were provided by the cross-functional team.\nMonitor responses and update the due dates as requested by the program manager, Engineering DL (including Cost & Timing and PPAP due dates). Change the product status in Eng. Change Database once PPAP approvals are received and file documents accordingly.\nCreate the entire Bill of Material (BOM) for new programs, including the nomenclature of the part numbers following the standard created.\nManufacturing Eng. Job Duties:\nLead and participate in continuous improvement initiatives focused on safety, quality, delivery and cost.\nIdentify opportunities to reduce waste, improve workflow and increase equipment effectiveness.\nSupport Lean Manufacturing and problem-solving activities.\nAssist with ergonomic, productivity and quality enhancement projects.\nGeneral Requirements\n1. Follows and adheres to the requirements of IATF 16949, ISO 14001, ISO 45001 as required.\nPerform all duties in a safe manner in accordance with Section 28 of the Occupational Health & Safety Act and Regulations for Industrial Establishments-Duties of Workers.\n28.
