This includes researching, designing, documenting, and modifying software programs and applications throughout the system life cycle. This position requires an ability to create and interpret various instructions furnished in written, oral, diagrammatic, or scheduled form. Must have analytical and problem-solving skills and an intense desire to learn, understanding of coding methods and best practices. Formulates logical statements of operational, administrative, or financial problems using structured systems design techniques.\nEnsures that the resulting design meets the operational needs and requirements of the users.\nWorks directly with users to determine systems requirements and meets with senior management in the company.\nEmploys iterative development techniques in the implementation of systems.\nDesign and develop front-end & back-end components/services for new and existing applications.\nIntegration of internal systems to external applications/services.\nAssists other staff with all systems and procedures to ensure conformance to standards.\nDesigns, codes, tests, debugs, and documents new and existing applications in accordance with departmental programming and development standards.\nUnderstands version control and source code management.\nKeeps current with software and hardware technology, understands emerging trends, and keeps team members informed.\nAssists the project leader and assists other staff involved in the detailed design and coding of system projects.\nAttends code reviews with Senior and Junior Developers.\nAttends regular status meetings with project team members to determine business priorities.\nFlexible to work occasional overtime.
