The Software Developer will work with other Developers, Business Analysts and Customers throughout the software development life cycle including cost analysis, design considerations and implementation timelines.\nKey Responsibilities\nWork with internal team and stakeholders to understand solution scope and overall project vision\nAssess and create system design and functional specifications for new development projects\nTroubleshoot technical issues and identify modifications needed in existing applications to meet changing user requirements\nBuild solutions utilizing best practices within the Power Platform environment\nVerify data sources and data integrity\nParticipate in status report meetings with IT and Functional teams \nCoordinate and communicate with internal and external resources of initiatives\nFollow emerging technology trends within the platform and identify opportunities for Magna Global IT Solutions\nDevelop and provide guidance on company standards and procedures to support application making self-service process\nActively participate in the governance of Power Apps and Power Automate within Magna\nKnowledge, Education and Work Experience\nPost-secondary degree in computer science or related field or a combination of related experience and education.\nSkills and Competencies\nBasic technical experience with web development, database, reporting and user support.\nUnderstanding Power Apps development methods (Canvas, Model Driven)\nUnderstanding Power Automate to configure approval and data transformation flows\nUtilize OOTB connectors and custom connectors if needed\nExperience working with SharePoint Online development\nKnowledge in common web technologies (HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, JSON, OData)\nPower BI integration is desired\nKnowledge in Compiled Programming Languages such as .NET C# is desired\nGood working knowledge skills with Microsoft Office Products, Microsoft Visio, and Microsoft Project\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills\nSelf-motivated with the ability to prioritize, meet deadlines, and manage changing priorities\nProven ability to be flexible and work hard, both independently and in a team environment\nExcellent English oral and written communication skills\nAwareness, Unity, Empowerment:\nAt Magna, we believe that a diverse workforce is critical to our success.
