This role utilizes advanced metrology equipment including Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM), portable CMMs, Keyence Scanners, and other precision measurement systems.\nWhat You'll Do\nProgram and operate CMMs, Keyence Scanners, portable CMMs, and other precision measurement equipment\n\nPerform dimensional layouts and inspections to verify product conformance to engineering specifications\n\nAnalyze measurement data and prepare dimensional reports\n\nConduct capability studies and support statistical analysis activities\n\nCalibrate hand tools, gauges, and inspection equipment\n\nEvaluate check fixtures and coordinate corrective actions when issues are identified\n\nDevelop gauging instructions and inspection methods\n\nAssist with sample submissions and quality documentation\n\nSupport problem-solving activities, corrective actions, and continuous improvement initiatives\n\nMaintain metrology records and gauge management systems\n\nQualifications\nAssociate's Degree in a technical field preferred, or 3-5 years of related metrology, quality, dimensional inspection, or CMM experience\n\nProficiency with PC-DMIS software for CMMs, measurement systems, and portable CMMs\n\nStrong experience using portable CMMs and associated measurement software\n\nFull understanding of Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T) and the ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and technical specifications\n\nExperience with Keyence Scanner systems, CM4D, Datamyte, PolyWorks, FARO equipment, or similar metrology software preferred\n\nWorking knowledge of Statistical Process Control (SPC) and Measurement Systems Analysis (MSA), including Gage R&R, Bias, and Linearity studies\n\nStrong mathematical aptitude, including geometry, trigonometry, and basic math functions\n\nBasic knowledge of CMM and measurement equipment maintenance\n\nAbility to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions using technical and mathematical information\n\nStrong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills with a self-driven approach to work\n\nPhysical Requirements\nAbility to lift equipment up to 40 pounds unassisted\n\nAbility to bend, stand, walk, climb, and perform physical activities in a manufacturing environment\n\nBenefits\nBenefits Available Day One\n\nHealth, Dental, and Vision Insurance\n\nPaid Vacation and Holidays\n\n401(k)\n\nProfit Sharing (eligibility requirements apply)\n\nTuition Reimbursement\n\nEmployee Referral Program\n\nLife Insurance and AD&D Coverage\n\nApply today to join Magna's team in Liberty, Missouri.\nAwareness, Unity, Empowerment:\nAt Magna, we believe that a diverse workforce is critical to our success.
