Our award-winning seating solutions are developed from consumer research, finding the ease of operation to be comfortable, convenient and connected.\nJob Responsibilities:\nEnsure design manufacturing feasibility and packaging of Seat structure components as per customer and CFT requirements.\n\nCreate and review of 3D CAD and make sure is meeting standard design guidelines.\n\nReview 2D drawings and make sure GD&T apply as per standard.\n\nEngineering reviews/meetings within team, customer, manufacturing teams and suppliers.\n\nShould well be aware about PLM/Teamcenter data management.\n\nMaintain and publish open issues list, ensure proper closure of all open issues in timely manner.\n\nFollow Magna seating and customer specific processes, standards, guidelines and meet quality and delivery targets in day-to-day customer deliverables.\n\nUnderstand customer requirements, clarify inputs, and perform the tasks accordingly.\n\nLead team to design & development Seat structures and mechanisms as per requirement.\n\nReview and approve seat structure and mechanism study using kinematics/Motion file to perform packaging studies.\n\nPerform regulatory (AIS, ECE, FMVSS) and complete seat studies.\n\nFlexibility in working with other BU’s as and when required.\n\nAdherence to the departmental processes (Checklist etc.).\n\nResolve the queries with Project lead / Customer.\n\nDeliver data to customer with clear communication.\n\nFollow the PDP process and make sure to complete all deliverable on timely basis.\n\nGuide team members for delivering work on timely basis and support to lead in quality Checking.\n\nLearn and gain product knowledge.\n\nSuggest ideas that will improve the existing work processes and guidelines.\n\nEnsure adherence to company, departmental and health and safety systems and policies to meet legislative requirements.\n\nEnsuring the workload distribution to meet delivery targets.\n\nPrepare SORs as per customers specifications.\n\nEnsure stackups and tolerances as per GD&T best practices.\n\nConduct reviews with suppliers and at plant.\n\nShould be flexible to travel to customer, supplier locations.\n\nTo attend physical testing.\n\nAwareness, Unity, Empowerment:\nAt Magna, we believe that a diverse workforce is critical to our success.
