Combining a deep systems knowledge to develop unique vehicle access experiences, intelligent visions systems and advanced automotive lighting technologies, MML's expertise light the path to innovation, safety and styling.\nJob Responsibilities:\nSalary Range: $37.00-$40.00/per hour\nRetrieve and review tooling prints for material and machining requirements.\nPerform all aspects of the tool/die component build for new and existing tools as directed by the tool & die maker requirements.\nWork is completed through use of milling machines, drill presses, assorted grinders, band and cut-off saws, lathes, lay-out tables, measuring equipment and heat treat ovens;\nMaintain the required forms for the purpose of recording the number of hours spent on each project\nGeneral Points\nEnsure that all environmental requirements are identified and addressed when performing duties.\nEnsure that all safety requirements are being carried out when performing duties.\nComply with defined Business Management and Environmental Management Systems requirements.\nProvide support for the continuous improvement initiatives within Techform.\nProvide support in the attainment of Techform' s operating system goals as outlined by the key graphs.\nCarry out all duties focusing on the goal of internal and external customer satisfaction.\nOther duties as may be assigned by the supervisor or designate.\nKey Qualifications/Requirements\nMinimum grade 12 diploma or equivalent is required.\nPost secondary education with full certification as a general machinist with the associated apprenticeship is required\nThe ability to create and interpret prints is required\nKnowledge of CNC principles is required\nKnowledge of CAD/CAM would be a definite asset\nGood written and verbal communication skills are required\nAttention to detail is key\nAwareness, Unity, Empowerment:\nAt Magna, we believe that a diverse workforce is critical to our success.
