Through our robust product engineering, outstanding tooling capabilities and diverse process expertise, we continue to bring lightweight and innovative products to market.\nJob Responsibilities:\n\nPosition Summary:\nReporting to the Maintenance Team Leader, Maintenance Supervisor and Maintenance & Facilities Manager, this position is responsible for the overall maintenance of AMRs (autonomous mobile robots) as well as plant equipment and facilities when necessary, ensuring the smooth running of the plant and limit impact on customer demand.\nRole Responsibilities:\nTo ensure AMR and equipment availability is in line with departmental targets.\nTo engage in root cause analysis of repeat / major breakdowns and provide reports with suggested improvements.\nTo engineer out previous issues following a continuous improvement mind-set & methodology.\nTo facilitate the PM schedules and make recommendations for improvement.\nTo support the internal customers with technical issues Inc. non-breakdown.\nTo ensure health, safety and environmental procedures are followed during maintenance activities.\nTo maintain and improve the equipment so quality is built in.\nAttend training when required and adhere to CCUK and Magna standards.\nTo apply 5S methodology in work area and wider factory.\nTo align to departmental and company goals.\nTo support management with ad-hoc projects as and when required.\nPromote the companies HSE policies across the department and plant and adhere to all health and safety environmental requirements.\nEssential Experience\nTime served apprenticeship in mechanical and electrical engineering or equivalent.\nMinimum C & G craft qualification / NVQ level 3 qualification in related discipline or equivalent.\nWillingness to multi- skill.\nExperience in fault finding from electrical, mechanical, pneumatic and/or hydraulic schematics.\nProficient in Microsoft (especially Word, Excel, Power Point).\nTo be able to communicate technical issues to non-technical staff.\n5S experience.\nDesirable Experience\nEducated to HNC/HND in related discipline.\nExperience within the castings sector\nHealth and safety accreditation.\nExperience of tier 1 automotive supply.\nExperience with AMR maintenance.\nExperience with die casting machines, furnaces, hydraulic presses, conveyors, assembly cells, ABB robots, Siemens PLCs, CNCs, etc.\n\nPersonal Attributes:\nGood problem-solving skills.\nTeam player and promotes a team approach to problem solving.\nConfidence to challenge the status quo.\nTarget driven.\nWork collaboratively to achieve project/company goals.\nAbility to work in a fast-paced environment.\nGood communicator both written and verbally.\nAbility to work under pressure.\nOrganised and able to multi-task.\nProactive in approach with a “can do attitude”.\nFlexibility to travel overseas infrequently.\nEligibility to work in the UK.\nWork Environment\nPlant conditions necessitate exposure to heat, cold, dust, hot objects, and loud noises within our manufacturing environment.
