Through our robust product engineering, outstanding tooling capabilities and diverse process expertise, we continue to bring lightweight and innovative products to market.\nJob Responsibilities:\nPosition Summary:\nReporting to the Maintenance and Facilities Manager the Maintenance Projects and Facilities Supervisor is responsible for all site facilities maintenance, services, maintenance projects, and associated contractor control. \nThe successful applicant will be responsible for direct reports including Project & Facilities Engineers and Fabricators, ensuring their teams have the skills, training, and equipment necessary to carry out their roles safely, efficiently, and effectively within budget.\nThe ideal candidate would have experience in facilities management, project management, services installation, and experience leading a team of highly skilled people.\nRole Responsibilities:\nThis role entails but is not limited to:\nSafety:\nPromoting the companies HSE policies across the department and plant and adhering to all health and safety environmental requirements.\nEnsuring a safe working environment through use of static and dynamic risk assessments.\nManaging contractors safely.\nResponding immediately to close out accidents, near misses, environmental issues, and internal “don’t walk by” actions.\nImplementing and promoting a 5S culture across all aspects of the maintenance function.\nEnsuring compliance to all statutory regulations and internal and external audits.\nQuality:\nEnsuring facilities schedules for CMs, CIs, and PMs are adhered to.\nReporting back on activities away from plan, with clear catch back plans.\nManaging and reducing your sub-team’s CM and PM backlogs.\nTiming:\nEnsuring your team has the support, skills, tools, and equipment to minimise impact on safety, quality, and productivity.\nLeading and supporting large-scale projects cross-functionally, on time, and in budget.\nEscalating emergency facilities activities in line with CCUK’s escalation procedure.\nPresenting and implementing KPIs.\nCost:\nOutlining and managing your team’s budget. Ensuring costs are kept to a minimum by promoting a right-first-time culture.\nMotivation:\nPeople management including return to work, absence management, timekeeping, and overtime authorisation.\nIdentifying skills and training needs and maintaining team training matrices.\nCoaching and mentoring your team to develop a world class facilities department.\nEssential Experience\nWorking in a safety critical environment\nManaging large scale facilities including Fire Alarm Systems, Boilers, Offices, Changing Rooms, HV/LV Systems, Cooling Tower Systems, Water Systems, Compressors, Lighting, Drainage Systems, Cleaning, Building Fabric, Air Conditioning, Air Handling Systems, Cranes, etc.\nManaging projects including scopes of requirements, justifications, quotations, timing plans, capex, contractor control, etc.\nManaging service installations including electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, water, gas etc.\nLeading/supervising/managing teams of skilled engineers, fabricators and Indentured apprenticeship.\nGood Leadership and coaching skills.\nProven organisational skills.\nStrong computer skills (Microsoft\nOffice).\nBroad engineering skills in electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic disciplines\nDesirable Experience\nManaged a team in OEM or significant Tier 1 experience.\nWorking in a highly demanding and fast paced environment.\nIOSH Managing Safely.\nIATF 16949 / ISO 14001.\nKnowledge of CMMS systems (Agility).\nKnowledge of RCM principles.\nExperience developing FMEA led PM’s.\nPersonal Attributes:\nGood interpersonal skills with “hands on” problem solving expertise\nTeam player and promote a team approach to problem solving\nStrategic critical thinker\nExcellent people management skills\nGood leadership and interpersonal skills\nWork collaboratively to achieve project/company goals\nAbility to work in a face paced environment\nStrong communicator both written and verbal\nAbility in influence and manage stakeholders\nAbility to work under pressure with short completion times for projects\nVery organised\nSafety innovation\nProactive in approach with a “can do attitude”\nFlexibility to travel extensively overseas infrequently\nEligibility to work in the UK\nWork Environment\nPlant conditions necessitate exposure to heat, cold, dust, hot objects, and loud noises within our manufacturing environment.
