Dream big and create the future of mobility at Magna Electronics.\nJob Responsibilities:\nPOSITION SUMMARY:\nThis position will function as the team lead and a member of the Maintenance team and will be responsible for the rapid diagnosis and repair of manufacturing equipment (assembly and Surface Mount Technology) as well as training of the technicians and escalation of issues.\nREQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE\nMinimum of 5 years hands on manufacturing maintenance experience\nPrevious experience working as a production maintenance technician preferred.\nAbility to lead and develop others through support, training.\nMust have working knowledge of programmable logic controllers (PLC) and their associated software programs\nExperience with Robotics, Vision Systems, electrical schematics preferred\nHigh degree of comprehension and judgment for effective problem solving\nDemonstrated ability to calculate and analyze data, generate reports, present information\nDemonstrated ability to use tools, equipment, and computer systems\nSolid interpersonal and written/verbal communication skills\nAbility to conceptualize, coordinate, integrate internal data and clearly articulate concepts, ideas and other issues related to mechanical assembly documentation \nDemonstrated strong analytical, troubleshooting and problem solving skills\nAbility to work varying shift hours when needed and overtime is required\nUnderstanding of Department Goals and Targets.\nEffective communication with Maintenance supervisor and Engineers\nHave skills to assist and develop improvement projects\nDelegate duties in day to day operations\nDUTIES:\nPrimary contact for maintenance technicians\nAssist in the development of employees using work history, on-the-job training\nUse blueprints and schematics, and print specifications to wire new or used equipment, install and replace components \nRepair machinery to satisfy all specifications, manufacturer’s requirements, and all applicable codes; Repair equipment using a range of diagnostic tools\nCollect input from operators, techs, and supervisors, to troubleshoot and evaluate the work order\nMachine start-ups: Assist in all initial start-up of machinery, test all functions, safety devices, and verify that machine performs properly\nObtain work order and necessary parts and tools to complete repair and/or work order\nParticipate and implement process improvement suggestions to support continuous improvement\nOrientates new team members on processes\nEnsures methods and procedures are adhered to, maintaining the efficiency of uptime.\nSupport current production as required\nOther duties as needed.\nAwareness, Unity, Empowerment:\nAt Magna, we believe that a diverse workforce is critical to our success.
