Together with our employees we constantly strive to create a better world of mobility.\nJob Responsibilities:\nThe Manufacturing Engineer will enhance and optimize manufacturing processes to improve efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness. This role involves defining and implementing change processes, managing fixtures, utilizing Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES), and programming and maintaining tools. The Manufacturing Engineer will lead continuous improvement initiatives, ensure seamless implementation of process changes, and support future projects by setting up lines, ensuring station readiness, and installing equipment. Additionally, the engineer will provide critical support during production startups and ongoing production operations to ensure smooth and efficient manufacturing processes. Complete ownership and clear communication are key to succeeding in this role. The goal is to ensure that manufacturing operations run smoothly, efficiently, and safely, while meeting production targets and maintaining high standards of quality.\nKey Responsibilities\nDevelop, implement, and maintain manufacturing processes to improve efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness.\nAnalyze current manufacturing processes and identify areas for improvement.\nDefine and document change processes, ensuring all modifications are systematically recorded and communicated.\nLead line balancing activities as needed according to production needs and improvements.\nProvide all required equipment and tools in all areas by analyzing the need and requirement.\nIntegrate and optimize the use of Atlas Copco tools within the manufacturing process.\nEnsure tools are properly maintained, calibrated, and used according to manufacturer specifications.\nProgram Atlas Copco tools according to process needs to ensure optimal performance and accuracy.\nProvide training and support to production staff on the proper use of Atlas Copco tools.\nLead responsibilities for line setup, station readiness, and equipment installations for future projects.\nEnsure all new setups and installations meet operational requirements and safety standards.\nCoordinate with relevant teams to ensure timely and efficient project execution.\nOrder fixtures according to CAD specifications and ensure timely validation upon arrival.\nMaintain and replace fixtures as needed to meet production requirements.\nCollaborate with vendors to design and manufacture new fixtures when necessary, ensuring they meet operational needs and safety standards.\nEnsure fixtures are properly maintained and calibrated.\nAnalyze proposed changes and provide detailed assessments of cost, process, and time impact within the timeframe given by the change coordinator.\nLead the implementation of approved changes in the process without disrupting production.\nWork cross-functionally with IT, Supply Chain Management (SCM), and Quality teams to implement changes.\nClearly communicate throughout the change process to ensure all stakeholders are informed and aligned.\nLead and participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance manufacturing processes.\nConduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions to resolve production issues. \nWork closely with cross-functional teams, including production, quality, commissioning, rework and maintenance, to ensure seamless integration of process improvements.\nCommunicate effectively with all levels of the organization to ensure alignment and understanding of process changes.\nQualifications\nBachelor’s degree in Automotive/Mechanical/Manufacturing/Industrial Engineering with 3-5 years of Automotive industry related experience (Required)\nMaster’s degree in Automotive/Mechanical/Manufacturing with 1-2 years of Automotive industry related experience (Preferred)\nExperience working in a production environment \nProven experience in a manufacturing process engineering role.\nStrong knowledge of manufacturing processes, fixtures, and tooling. \nStrong problem-solving skills, including ability to analyze issues using 5 Why methodology, research root causes, and develop effective, creative solutions with sound decision-making.\nAbility to interpret and apply a range of instruction formats (written, oral, diagrams, schedules) and address problems lacking standard solutions.\nStrong organizational skills, ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines, including extended hours when needed.\nProactive mindset with ability to recommend process, policy, and system improvements.\nAbility to work independently and as part of a team.\nExcellent communication and interpersonal skills. \nFamiliarity with 3D CAD software \nKnowledge of AutoCAD \nUnderstanding of MES system and integration \nSite Benefits:\nDetailed information on our benefits package will be provided as part of the recruitment process\nAnd now: It’s your turn!\nWe are looking forward to receiving your online application!
