Our award-winning seating solutions are developed from consumer research, finding the ease of operation to be comfortable, convenient and connected.\nJob Responsibilities:\nThe ideal candidate should possess an undergraduate degree in Engineering or equivalent experience, with strong analytical skills and proficiency in computer software applications such as word processing, spreadsheets, databases, and AutoCAD.\nKey responsibilities include:\nProviding engineering support for designing and manufacturing fixtures, machines, and tools, ensuring ergonomic and safety standards.\nExamines plans and specifications for new machinery and equipment to ascertain if all safety precautions have been included.\nAssists in preparing Failure Mode Affects Analysis Reports. Facilitates compliance with all OSHA regulations relating to the plant.\nAssisting in ergonomics programs and plant health and safety initiatives to prevent unsafe working conditions.\nConducting plant surveys to assess exposure to hazards like noise, dust, fumes, and radiation.\nEnsuring compliance with Quality, Environmental, and Material Management systems, including ISO 14001 standards.\nPromoting a safety-conscious attitude, reporting unsafe conditions or incidents, and adhering to all health, safety, and environmental policies per company and legal standards.\nThe role emphasizes safety, regulatory compliance, and continuous improvement in manufacturing processes.\nAwareness, Unity, Empowerment:\nAt Magna, we believe that a diverse workforce is critical to our success.
