Dream big and create the future of mobility at Magna Electronics.\nJob Responsibilities:\nWhat you can expect\nWe are seeking an experienced Data Architect to design, build and manage our enterprise-wide master data management (MDM) framework and Data platform. This role will define our data governance standards and strategies, design our data architecture, architect our central data platform, and ensure high-quality, reliable data to support business decision making and value realization.\nShape and execute strategy for data governance, architecture and platform\nTranslate high-level business needs into data models and appropriate metadata, test data, and data quality standards\nDevelop and establish standards, guidelines, roles, responsibilities and processes for to ensure data quality, integrity and reusability\nDesign, scale and manage ME’s Data Architecture and Platform\nDesign the structure and layout of data systems including data schemas, optimizing data storage, and establishing data access controls\nDefine rules and controls to ensure data accuracy and completeness\nDesign scalable, secure, and efficient data pipelines\nManage integration or transition of multiple data sources\nLeverage data analytics to generate insights in business performance and support management decision-making\nDrive data literacy and organizational change and communication\nWhat you'll bring\nBachelor’s degree in computer science, data science, data- engineering, or related field (master’s degree and relevant certificates are a plus)\n8+ years of experience in data governance, data architecture, or data platform design, with at least 3 years in a leadership role\nProven experience building and managing master data governance frameworks from scratch, ideally within automotive or high-tech industries\nStrong expertise with Databricks, Spark, data Lakehouse architectures, and related big data technologies\nDeep understanding of data quality, security, and compliance standards (GDPR, ISO/TS standards, etc.)\nFamiliarity with automotive data sources, sensor data, and workflows is a plus\nExcellent stakeholder management, communication, and change management skills\nWhat we offer\nWe offer an annual gross salary starting from 175,000 RON, complemented by our benefits package\nFlexible working hours and hybrid work\nHealth and wellbeing programs\nMeal allowance of 35 RON per day, offered through meal tickets\nTeam events and company initiatives\nExtensive training and exciting internal development opportunities\nAwareness, Unity, Empowerment:\nAt Magna, we believe that a diverse workforce is critical to our success.
