Because we believe that your career path should be as unique as you are.\nGroup Summary:\nThe Magna Exteriors portfolio of products includes access systems such as liftgates, exterior trim, modular systems, front-end modules including fascia, active aerodynamic systems and other lightweight structural components for automotive, commercial truck and other industrial markets.\nRecognized globally as an innovator in all aspects of vehicle exteriors, Magna provides everything needed, from materials development and design through manufacturing and assembly, to help automakers create sleek, state-of-the-art vehicles across the world.\nJob Responsibilities:\nSupport processes and other activities consistent with molding department’s expectations and goals.\nInitiate machine processes, make adjustments within process tolerances and recommend any changes for improved efficiencies.\nResponsible for all tool changes and setup of auxiliary equipment.\nResponsible for making the proper connections to the tools (water, hydraulic, vacuum and electrical).\nAssist with setting up and loading material into the slitter machine.\nMust be able to troubleshoot the injection presses and robots.\nMust assist with troubleshooting assembly equipment.\nContinually monitor all processes related to injection molding.\nAnalyze and resolve any process problems. Resolve any product non-conformity issues that may arise.\nAssist in the set-up and start-up of new tools and materials for trial.\nConform to the implementation of continuous process improvement in the molding department.\nMust obtain and maintain a forklift certification.\nSecond shift schedule: 2PM - 1030PM\nWho we are looking for:\nThree years minimum molding experience required.\nMust have experience processing plastics and setting tools.\nKnowledge of robot programming and troubleshooting a must.\nYour preferred qualifications:\nAssociate’s degree in a technical field of study preferred.\nReliable transportation\nAwareness, Unity, Empowerment:\nAt Magna, we believe that a diverse workforce is critical to our success.
