Combining a deep systems knowledge to develop unique vehicle access experiences, intelligent visions systems and advanced automotive lighting technologies, MML's expertise light the path to innovation, safety and styling.\nJob Responsibilities:\nAssess the business impact of emerging technologies and future IT infrastructure trends.\n Analyze infrastructure requirements and recommend improvements or capital projects that support business needs.\nEstablish and maintain endpoint hardware, software, access, security, backup, and support standards.\n Coordinate the deployment and lifecycle management of network equipment, servers, endpoints, and related IT hardware for Dortec.\nEvaluate and implement technologies that improve network performance, capacity, reliability, resiliency, and security.\nManage and configure VMware ESXi and Azure Local / Azure Stack HCI data center clusters.\n Keep systems current through operating system upgrades, patching, firmware updates, vulnerability remediation, and planned maintenance activities.\nTroubleshoot infrastructure, endpoint, and connectivity issues in office and factory floor environments.\nProvide help desk escalation support for network, server, endpoint, Microsoft 365, and access-related issues.\nProvide technical support by phone, remote access, or site visits as required.\nRespond to IT issues involving hardware, software, networking, MFP and label printing, identity, security, access and related infrastructure systems.\nEvaluate connectivity issues, equipment, and software, and identify practical continuous improvement opportunities.\nModify and maintain configuration standards for infrastructure systems, Linux environments, Microsoft Active Directory, Group Policy, and Microsoft Entra ID / hybrid identity environments.\nSet up, configure, and support equipment and access for new users.\nInstall, configure, test, patch, and monitor servers, infrastructure software, and related services.\nSupport servers, Cisco LAN/WLAN, Fortinet firewall/WAN/ technologies, endpoint troubleshooting, network security, and the overall infrastructure landscape of the business.\nManage UPS systems, backup platforms, recovery procedures, and disaster recovery readiness.\nMonitor and plan server capacity, storage utilization, network performance, and overall infrastructure health.\nMaintain safety and housekeeping standards at all times.\nProvide support and complete other tasks deemed appropriate by the department manager.\nQualifications and Skills:\nBachelor’s degree or diploma in computer science, information systems, networking, cybersecurity, or a related field is preferred; equivalent hands-on experience will be considered.\n3 to 5 years of experience in network, systems, or infrastructure administration.\nITIL, Cisco, Fortinet, VMware, Microsoft, or related infrastructure certifications are considered assets.\nExperience administering Windows Server, Windows 11, Linux Ubuntu/Debian, Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, and file/print services.\nExperience with Microsoft 365 administration, Microsoft Entra ID / Azure Active Directory, conditional access, MFA, and hybrid identity management.\nExperience with scripting and automation tools such as PowerShell, Python, batch scripting, or legacy scripting such as VBScript.\nWorking experience with VMware ESXi, Azure Local / Azure Stack HCI, NetApp or similar SAN storage, and backup or disaster recovery platforms.\nExperience supporting LAN/WLAN, VLANs, routing, switching, firewall, VPN, and network security technologies.\nExperience with endpoint deployment, patching, ISRC/endpoint protection, inventory, monitoring, and ticketing or change management tools.\nExperience supporting IT systems in a manufacturing, plant, or production environment is considered an asset.\nAbility to work independently and within a team.\nAbility to multitask, prioritize, troubleshoot effectively, and manage time efficiently.\nExcellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to support technical and non-technical users.\nComfortable working in a diverse, fast-paced environment with changing priorities.\nSalary Range: $65,000 to $80,000 annually\nVacancy Status: Immediate, open position\nSite Benefits:\nConveniently close to Highway 404\nMedical and Dental Benefits\nProfit Sharing (EEPPP) and Group RRSP Program\nCompany Paid Basic Life Insurance and AD&D\nCorporate Plans for Roger's Cellphone Data Plan\nEmployee Discounts: Auto and Home Insurance, Retail, Restaurants, etc.\nAwareness, Unity, Empowerment:\nAt Magna, we believe that a diverse workforce is critical to our success.
