Min. 2-year technician level.\nMinimum one year of previous experience in manufacturing environment required \nKnowledge of automotive assembly process and equipment required \nGood communication skills (both written and spoken)\nWillingness to go above and strive for continuous improvement\nVision cameras programming experience\nControls programming (PLC, Python, Ignition) experience is an asset \nAutoCAD experience is an asset \nMust be quality minded, safety conscious and reliable. \nMust be self-motivated and have ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment\nProven analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills\nMAIN DUTIES\nOwns Implementation of vision-based error proofing plan\n- Determines requirements by working with vendors and/or internal resources\n- Ensures cameras incorporated into table/fixture designs\n- Installation and programming of cameras\n- Validation of camera programs\n- Support maintenance through life of program should any issues arise\nProvides feedback into standardized work and/or creates SWI as required\nSupport process flow/FMEA development activities, plant layout updates and equipment run off activities\nProvide support to Industrial Engineer, Nesting installation, HD protection, supports new area setup\nAwareness, Unity, Empowerment:\nAt Magna, we believe that a diverse workforce is critical to our success.
