Nicotine and 10-panel drug screenings are part of the pre-employment process.\nWhat You’ll Be Doing\nYou’ll work directly with the APQP to:\nDevelop the program execution plan under the guidelines of the APQP process. Define customer needs and expectations for assigned programs. Establish customer milestones from design to production readiness. (Production readiness is defined as developing parts capable of being manufactured by each department at the quoted performance parameters for material labor and overhead utilization.) \nThe Program Manager’s customers are representatives of the OEM and internal manufacturing departments and PM performance must meet or exceed customer expectations.\nCreate and maintain a master timeline that details internal and supplier execution required to meet customer milestones. Implement adequate scheduling to allow for tooling modifications to produce a quality product that will meet or exceed customer expectations for sample submission and prototype parts delivered on time.\nMaintain program costs within budget. Prepare and issue complete request for quote packages to potential suppliers, and complete a competitive analysis prior to awarding business. Use the DexSys Tooling Manual along with engineering drawings and math data as a guideline for quotes.\nEnsure secondary tooling is defined specifically for its end use and quality performance that meet expectations for synchronous manufacturing, ergonomics, environmental and safety standards. Check fixtures will be quoted according to specific design standards.\nMaintain program information sheets, B.O.M., design records and PPAP folders or equivalent.\nParticipate in a cross-functional team for source selection after analysis of potential suppliers has been completed. Ensure work orders and suppliers’ P.O.’s are processed within budget and without delay.\nAct as Team Leader and participate in team activities as required for the successful execution of required action plans for the launch of assigned programs.\nParticipate in and present information/data as required at customer initiated meetings. (ie: PDT’s)\nMaintain an up-to-date open issues tracking report using the format currently in place. Identify all action items requiring completion to successfully meet deadlines and assign follow-up responsibilities.\nLead and manage the DexSys in-plant internal Launch Meeting activity to provide monthly program status reporting to the entire plant launch team and personnel.\nProvide cost and timing as required for all engineering changes for assigned programs. When released, follow-up and ensure changes are implemented correctly and on budget.\nManage and Communicate status of programs on a frequent basis through the Magna / DexSys portal (traX) and the PDP Gate Review process.\nRecord retention and document control will be maintained per IATF-16949 procedures.\nWork with the Advanced Quality Manager and Advanced Quality team to prepare documentation to support submission packages. All submission parts and paperwork will conform to every detail of customer requirements.\nWork with the customer and develop a complete analysis of the packaging standards required to deliver a quality part to our customers point of usage.\nWork with assembly component suppliers and develop timelines for tooling and sample part submissions.
