Responsible for compensation administration, payroll support, job evaluation and classification, pay equity compliance, job description management, and participation in internal and external audits to support organizational effectiveness and regulatory compliance.\nQUALIFICATIONS NECESSARY TO DO THE JOB:\nImmediate opening \n$85,000 - $95,000 annual compensation\nCompletion of a Post Graduate College diploma or University degree in Human Resources required\nCHRP (Certified Human Resources Professional) designation preferred\nMinimum 5 years of senior Human Resources experience within a manufacturing or fast-paced environment.\nDemonstrated experience in compensation administration, job evaluation, pay equity, and market benchmarking.\nStrong knowledge of employment legislation, human resources best practices, and compensation principles.\nPrevious experience developing and managing annual labour plans, compensation budgets, and merit increase processes.\nExperience with Workday or a comparable Human Resources Information System (HRIS) required.\nDemonstrated knowledge of payroll processes, time and attendance systems, statutory deductions, payroll legislation, payroll reconciliations, and supporting payroll-related audits, reporting, and compliance activities.\nStrong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities with exceptional attention to detail.\nAbility to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and work effectively in a dynamic environment.\nAdvanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.\nMAIN DUTIES:\nAct as the primary lead for compensation-related activities, including:\nAnnual labour planning and forecasting\nAnnual wage review processes\nJob evaluation and position classification\nPay Equity compliance and reporting\nRecommendation and administration of compensation adjustments\nAnalyse compensation data and provide recommendations to ensure internal equity and external market competitiveness\n\nSupport payroll activities and serve as a payroll backup.\nProviding guidance and support to employees and leaders while fostering positive employee relations.\nDevelopment and maintenance of all job descriptions.\nSupport payroll administration and related audit, compliance, and reporting activities.\nConduct and support workplace investigations as required.\nLead and participate in HR audits, including MAFACT, IATF, LEA, CTPAT, TISAX and other corporate requirements.\nMaintain accurate HR records, metrics, and reporting while identifying opportunities for process improvement.\nSupport talent acquisition, onboarding, training and development, benefits administration, and employee engagement initiatives.\nSupport employee recognition and engagement events.\nContribute to Continuous Improvement and 5S initiatives in support of operational excellence.\nPerform other Human Resources duties and special projects as assigned.\nAwareness, Unity, Empowerment:\nAt Magna, we believe that a diverse workforce is critical to our success.
