Because we believe that your career path should be as unique as you are.\nGroup Summary:\nThe Magna Exteriors portfolio of products includes access systems such as liftgates, exterior trim, modular systems, front-end modules including fascia, active aerodynamic systems and other lightweight structural components for automotive, commercial truck and other industrial markets.\nRecognized globally as an innovator in all aspects of vehicle exteriors, Magna provides everything needed, from materials development and design through manufacturing and assembly, to help automakers create sleek, state-of-the-art vehicles across the world.\nJob Responsibilities:\nPerforms general electrical construction: Installs conduit, electrical enclosures, electrical controllers, switches, etc.\nTroubleshoots and repairs electronic hydraulic, pneumatic controllers and devices, and HVAC.\nAnalyzes equipment problems, determines root causes and recommends solutions.\nPerforms general mechanical work including welding, pipe fitting, equipment installation and fabrication work.\nBalances rotating equipment.\nMeasures and makes appropriate changes to paint booth and over air flow to maintain system balance.\nMaintains a high quality level of work; results of work should indicate good craftsmanship in an environmentthat produces schedule changes on short notice.\nMaintains an acceptable attendance record and works overtime as required.\nAccurately completes written documentation of activities as required (work orders, PO requests, etc.).\nReports any abnormalities of tools, parts or equipment to the Supervisor.\nLoads and unloads equipment or materials related to maintenance and facilities projects.\nMaintains a clean and safe work area.\nParticipates in department meetings.\nSubmits cost reduction and Innovation ideas.\nPerforms other tasks as assigned.\nInitiate qualification process to achieve senior technician status in 24 months.\nRequired: Two years maintenance troubleshooting experience in a manufacturing facility.
