With a combined legacy of resilience, Magnera will build personal partnerships that withstand an ever-changing world.\nResponsibilities\nThe Industrial Maintenance Mechanic plays a critical role in maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing heavy industrial equipment to ensure maximum equipment uptime and process reliability. This position supports a nonwoven manufacturing environment and requires hands-on mechanical expertise in conveyors, bearings, chains, lubrication systems, and industrial alignment techniques. The mechanic must be comfortable operating within a CMMS platform, executing PMs, logging work, and ensuring timely communication of equipment conditions and work completion.\nPrimary Responsibilities\nPerform preventive and corrective maintenance on industrial equipment, including conveyors, gearboxes, bearings, and drive systems.\nTroubleshoot and repair mechanical issues in a timely and safe manner to minimize downtime.\nTrack conveyor belts, align rollers, and replace worn components as necessary.\nPerform precision shaft and pulley alignments once trained (laser and dial indicators).\nLubricate bearings, chains, and other mechanical components using correct methods and schedules.\nInterpret mechanical blueprints, equipment schematics, and work orders with guidance.\nUse CMMS software for work order tracking, time entry, and PM execution.\nRespond to equipment breakdowns and perform root cause failure analysis as needed.\nSafely operate lifts, cranes, and hoists; follow LOTO procedures and plant safety rules.\nCollaborate with other maintenance and operations personnel to ensure production needs are met.\nParticipate in continuous improvement efforts to reduce downtime and improve equipment reliability.\nOther duties as assigned.\nQualifications\nQualifications\nHigh school diploma or GED required;
