This position is responsible for ensuring a safe, productive, and efficient work environment while driving performance in safety, quality, production, equipment reliability, and employee engagement.\nThe ideal candidate is a strong leader who thrives in a industrial manufacturing environment and enjoys developing teams, solving problems, and improving processes.\nWhat You'll Do\nLead Safe Operations\nPromote a strong safety-first culture.\nEnsure compliance with all safety policies, procedures, and regulations.\nConduct safety inspections and audits.\nParticipate in emergency response activities and maintain required certifications.\nDrive Production Performance\nLead shift operations to meet production, quality, and efficiency goals.\nMonitor equipment performance and coordinate troubleshooting efforts to minimize downtime.\nCommunicate production priorities and schedule changes to team members.\nConduct shift handoff meetings and support daily operational planning.\nEnsure Product Quality\nMonitor product quality throughout production.\nEnsure compliance with quality standards and operating procedures.\nSupport investigations and corrective actions related to quality issues and customer concerns.\nDevelop and Lead a High-Performing Team\nCoach, mentor, and develop hourly production employees.\nProvide performance feedback and accountability.\nSupport hiring, training, performance management, and employee development.\nFoster teamwork, communication, and continuous improvement.\nSupport Continuous Improvement\nIdentify opportunities to improve safety, quality, productivity, and cost performance.\nLead waste reduction and process improvement initiatives.\nPromote workplace organization and operational excellence practices.\nQualifications\nRequired\nHigh School Diploma or GED.\nMinimum 5 years of supervisory experience.\nStrong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.\nAbility to work effectively in a manufacturing environment and manage multiple priorities.\nPreferred\nAssociate's or Bachelor's degree.\nManufacturing leadership experience within a heavy industrial nonwoven manufacturing environment, or related continuous-process industries such as textiles, paper, or converting, strongly preferred.\nSAP experience.\nSix Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification.\nWhat We're Looking For\nSafety-focused leader with a hands-on management style.\nAbility to motivate and develop employees.\nStrong analytical and decision-making skills.\nExperience working with production metrics, reporting systems, and manufacturing technologies.\nCommitment to operational excellence and continuous improvement.\nWork Environment\nThis position works primarily in a heavy industrial manufacturing facility and requires:\nWalking and standing for extended periods.\nWorking around large-scale production equipment and automated machinery.\nClimbing stairs and accessing elevated platforms as needed.\nWearing required PPE in designated production areas.\nExposure to noise, temperature variations, dust, fibers, and other manufacturing conditions.\nWhy Join Us?\nYou'll have the opportunity to lead a dedicated team, make a direct impact on manufacturing performance, and help drive a culture centered on safety, quality, teamwork, and continuous improvement.\nReady to lead the night shift?
