Including such activities as prepping for roll production, doffing rolls, packaging rolls, line start-ups, operational maintenance and cleaning.\nJOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:\nCompletes responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and procedures, and applicable laws.\nActively participate in risk assessment activities for their area of responsibility. \nActively participate in incident investigations, root cause analysis and support implemented corrective actions.\nParticipate in safety observation programs as required.\nCreate and maintain a team effort attitude and team approach within the department and plant, \nOperate and Maintain Line to established standards\nMeet productivity standards\nUnderstand and fully utilize all ISO procedures. \nComplete required documentation such as: patrols, housekeeping sheets, doff quality coding, etc.\nTroubleshoot issues with quality or productivity related to the team or the machine\nMake adjustments to machinery as needed. \nSuggest improvements to processes or procedures\nCoordinate with lab personnel, Team Leader and Engineering for issues and improvements \nPerform 6S and other housekeeping duties required for clean and safe work environment\nTrain others as needed\nAdditional duties as assigned\nQualifications\nQUALIFICATIONS:\nHS Diploma \nExperience in a manufacturing facility (preferably textiles or roll goods) strongly desired.\nDemonstrated proficiency in the use of standard office machines and computer software including MS Office Suite- Outlook, Excel, Word, and Powerpoint. \nGeneral understanding of machinery and tools. \nExcellent verbal and written communication skills to interact with building occupants, contractors, and management\nCOMPETENCIES:\nActive Learner: Able to identify own development and learning needs.
