With a combined legacy of resilience, Magnera will build personal partnerships that withstand an ever-changing world.\nResponsibilities\nJOB SUMMARY: The Line Lead will be responsible for supporting the safety, training and development, and the maintenance of operational procedures to be followed out by the assigned personnel under the control of the Shift Supervisor.\nJOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:\nEnsure all tasks are performed in a safe manner and are responsible for the safe performance of their team members.\nParticipation in and active promotion of all safety initiatives, including HIBOs and Convergence.\nEnsure team members are following job safety and will confront any unsafe acts observed, as well as give positive feedback.\nMaintain operational procedures and controls to ensure the product meets customer-required and recognized quality standards.\nAssist the Shift Supervisor in understanding training and development needs for team members, as well as help execute the development of individuals.\nActively participate in continuous improvement initiatives for the Safety, Quality, Logistics, Process, and Operations teams.\nSafely operate all equipment needed to perform job and cover/fill in for open positions, as needed.\nCommunicate effectively with internal customers, as well as, peers to solve problems and enhance capabilities of the team.\nProvide the shift supervisor with relevant information and data for performance reviews, conflict resolution, training and development, and potential challenges or opportunities as identified.\nAssist operators and coordinate troubleshooting activities. Refer to the process tech / engineer for root-cause solutions to recurring problems.\nTrain others, as needed.\nCover Shift Supervisor activities when supervisor is absent which includes but is not limited to:\no Understand and help positively communicate changes in business situations, production schedules, and company policies.\no Communicate customer specifications/changes.\no Ensure required information is disseminated to the team through effective communication meetings, postings, and other methods as needed.\no Prepare safety and incident reporting (Velocity) when appropriate.\nPerform other duties as assigned.\nTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Technical Degree preferred. Or equivalent in education combined with experience.\n3-5 years of experiences working in a manufacturing environment.
