Very important to be comfortable building with agent-assisted and agentic workflows.\nYou will work closely with Engineers, Product Managers, and Senior Quality Leaders to ensure quality is built in early and continuously, not added at the end.\nThis role is ideal for someone who is comfortable owning quality for features or services, contributes meaningfully to automation and CI/CD flows, and is ready to grow toward more senior technical leadership.\nNOTE: Candidate must reside in Canada.\nWhy Join This Team?\nWork on meaningful products where quality truly matters.\nLearn from experienced quality and engineering leaders.\nGrow technical depth and ownership over time.\nContribute to modern quality practices and tooling.\nClear progression path toward Senior or Staff Quality Engineering roles.\nWhat You'll Do\nQuality Execution & Ownership\nOwn quality for assigned features, services, or components.\nDesign and execute risk-based test approaches aligned to product intent.\nIdentify gaps in coverage and propose practical improvements.\nParticipate actively in story refinement, design discussions, and planning.\nTest Automation & Tooling\nBuild and maintain automated tests across API, UI, and integration layers.\nContribute to existing test frameworks and tooling.\nWrite clear, maintainable, production-quality test code.\nHelp ensure automation is reliable, meaningful, and provides fast feedback.\nCI/CD & Developer Workflows\nIntegrate tests into CI/CD pipelines to provide timely quality signals.\nMonitor pipeline health, test failures, and flakiness.\nCollaborate with engineers to keep pipelines fast and trustworthy.\nLearn and apply evolving approaches, including agent-assisted or agentic workflows, where appropriate.\nCollaboration & Quality Advocacy\nPartner with software engineers to improve testability and design.\nRaise quality risks early with context and evidence.\nParticipate in root-cause analysis and defect prevention discussions.\nLearn when to push back-and when to accept trade-offs.\nGrowth & Continuous Improvement\nLearn from senior QEs and technical leaders through reviews and mentoring.\nReflect on what works (and doesn’t) in testing and quality practices.\nGradually take on more complex problems and ownership as skills grow.\nWhat We're Looking For\nExperience\n3+ years of experience in Quality Engineering, Test Engineering, or Software Engineering.\nExperience supporting quality for production software systems.\nExperience working on a cross-functional product or delivery team.\nTechnical Skills\nSolid foundation in test automation (API and UI preferred).\nAbility to read, understand, and write production-level code.\nFamiliarity with CI/CD systems and modern development workflows.\nExperience with AI-assisted or agentic testing workflows.\nNice to Have Skills\nExperience working with distributed systems or microservices.\nExposure to contract testing, performance testing, or reliability testing.\nFamiliarity with developer tooling or platform teams.\nExperience with Jenkins, Grafana, playwright and Linux.\nExperience with writing C#.\nCompensation & Benefits\nThe Compensation range is for the primary location for which the job is posted. Please note that the actual compensation may vary depending on location and job-related factors such as qualifications, experience, knowledge and skills.
